Practice Exams | AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional (Udemy.com)

Yesterday, August 11, 2026, I passed the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional exam with a score of 760/1000. Interestingly, I scored 44% on both of the practice exams. Although those scores were initially discouraging, the practice exams ultimately proved extremely valuable because they helped expose weaknesses in my knowledge and showed me exactly which areas I needed to revisit before taking the actual exam. My preparation took roughly six weeks and involved completing Professor Maarek’s AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional course, creating extensive Quizlet flashcards as I progressed through each domain, repeatedly studying and refining those flashcards, completing both practice exams, and thoroughly reviewing the concepts behind the questions I answered incorrectly. In the final days before the exam, I focused heavily on my weaker areas rather than simply memorizing answers. For additional context, I was first exposed to AWS more than five years ago. I earned my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification in November 2023 and my AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification on June 16, 2026. That prior AWS knowledge certainly helped, so your preparation timeline may be shorter or longer depending on your existing experience. I highly recommend using these practice exams as learning and diagnostic tools, rather than becoming discouraged by your initial scores. I bought these practice tests to prepare for the DevOps Engineer - Professional certification. While the tests are good, they are no longer representative of the current expectations (2025) of the real deal because services like Elastic Beanstalk, OpsWork CodeCommit are no longer in the exam. Nevertheless, these tests do help a lot with the format of the exam, and the explanations are also easy to understand.

Absolutely amazing. Not only does it explain what anwers were incorrect/correct it goes into detail and provides real world examples on how to do that very thing including coding examples and links to AWS resources I would give it a higher score if possible but it deserves all 5 stars.

The questions need to be updated to reflect the current AWS services. For example, update old names (e.g., to EventBridge), remove deprecated services like CodeCommit and OpsWorks, and include newer services such as Outposts. Additionally, rephrasing some of the questions for clarity would improve the overall quality. In summary, it appears the question set has not been updated for quite some time, especially when compared with other mock exams on the platform.

This practice test set is very helpful towards achieving the certification. Though, I see some of the much harder questions in the actual exam. It would be very helpful if that gets line-out as well so we are fully prepared and have less anxiety on the actual exam session.

I cleared the DevOps exam, thanks to your wonderful Hands on course. However, i feel this practice paper quite easy when compared to the actual exam. I would expect the practice papers to match the difficulty level of the main exam. Also the new version had very few changes with almost all questions being the same

Great source of study - you really need to do some practices tests before the exam to compliment the course and see a lot of 'gotchas' which will become useful - and the explanations are super useful. It would be nice to have another test rather than just one (as the first one is just 10 questions repeated on the 2nd, a warmup) :)

There was a course that gave feedback on correct/incorrect after each question. I liked that because it gave immediate feedback and allowed me to more easily inspect what my line of thinking was for correctness. Going back after the whole test is taken - I forget what my reasoning was for selecting the answer(s).

I would say because of his 2 courses (Hand on & Exam readiness) made me passed Devops pro Today!! The best AWS resource that can shorter your time to get AWS knowledge plus skill for whatever your reason. For me I can tell that I can use What I learned from him to help my customer in real life. I cannot wait to enroll his's AWS Architect Pro course. :)

Difficulty level of practice questions is equivalent to REAL exam. If you pass this practice test, you would probably pass REAL exam. I do highly recommend everyone to attempt this course practice test before going for AWS DevOps Professional exam. Thanks Stephane , you are AWSome !
