Course Description

"Wow, great course. This is my 2nd run thru' I am amazed at the depth and realistic application of machine learning. Tx for the great course, will join other courses to learn more from you. Two thumbs up!!!"

Do you want to predict the stock market using artificial intelligence? Join us in this course for beginners to automating tasks.

In this course, you learn how to code in Python, calculate linear regression with TensorFlow, and make a stock market prediction app. We interweave theory with practical examples so that you learn by doing.

This course was funded by a wildly successful Kickstarter.

We show you how to build a model with a single variable. We don't go into daily stock market prediction.

AI is code that mimics certain tasks. You can use AI to predict trends like the stock market. Automating tasks has exploded in popularity since TensorFlow became available to the public (like you and me!) AI like TensorFlow is great for automated tasks including facial recognition. One farmer used the machine model to pick cucumbers!

Join Mammoth Interactive in this course, where we blend theoretical knowledge with hands-on coding projects.

Course material is good but its based on old tools. The presentation is simply an older PyCharm vs Jupyter or equivalent. The course also uses outdated tensorflow Version 1 models that aren't compatible with Version 2. Course would be fantastic if it was updated.

The course title was "predict the stock market with data and model building" but the content of these course focuses more on image classification and very less on stock market prediction. Although the hands-on session was excellent but it provides very less theoretical knowledge about machine learning. and you have covered only linear regression model for stock market prediction. It would be better if you have included the prediction of stock market using basic and complex neural network model.

This course is obviously for beginner but when teaching python you should also teach good python practice like python standard pep 8 by example. You do not have to go deep into python standard but only by using it your self then it would give beginner a edge start

a couple of errors in the simple example. date was backwards, so we are predicting the previous day's movement. accuracy was wrong. so the model was only 40% correct. but you'd expect a linear model based on trading volume to fail. disappointing to see CIFAR10 as example. it is over done elsewhere. no added value in repeating it here. would've been much better to use the models on the stock market data. more relevant too. (although it was well done here) great to see you have saving and loading models to h5 and saving to pb files. lessons not found elsewhere.

The introduction video could be improved with better sound quality. However, the course material is very good and the speaker engaging. One video had some bad sounds quality but overall the audio is very good. Looking forward to finishing the course.

This is an important course for quant traders. However, to get the most, it helps to have some base in Python first.

Good course for technical analysis of a stock. Will do few exercises based on this course and see how stock prediction goes :) anyways it was a good one to start of.

By Mike C on 11/22/2017

Course was average. Good intro to Python and TensorFlow. Don't plan on making money with the stock predication app at the end. This is really an intro to what you could build out with TensorFlow. It took me some time locally to get my environment up and running to resolve issues with PyCharm (specifically the MatPlot library). Once those were resolved, I was able to code through all the examples with the instructor.

Learned Tensor Flow basics in 15 mins at 1.25x speed. Great tutorial which can be expanded if you know how financial markets work linking different asset classes and risk factors. Thanks.
