Course Description

"Incredibly essential for a beginner such as myself. I have attempted to figure out Unity on my own and was completely lost even with the system's free tutorials. This is giving me exactly what I need to know in a step-by-step explanation"
"It's really good so far, they are not making me paste lots of code like other tutorials which means I can learn." - Eivis T.
"Very detailed explanation." - Gonzalo C.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This beginner's course has 2 parts! In Part 1, you build a 3D Legend of Zenda game in Unity and Blender. In Part 2, you learn Android app development by making apps from scratch.
This course is unique because we make both the code and the art for the game from scratch. We teach you the fundamentals of designing, coding, and modeling a 3D game.
First you design the game "The Legend of Zenda" and its functionality in Unity. You learn how to code in C# and build video game levels.
Don't worry if you've never coded before. We start simple and add more to the game as the course goes on.
Included in this course is material for beginners to get comfortable with the interfaces. Please note that we reuse this material in similar courses because it is introductory material. You can find some material in this course in the following related courses:

Why Unity?
Unity is one of the most popular platforms in game development. You can use Unity to build 2D and 3D games. Unity is cross-platform, which means it is easy to use with other platforms.
Then you create the 3D models for the game in Blender. You build all the art assets for the game, including the characters, weapons, cannon, dungeon, and temple. You learn how to integrate your art from Blender into Unity.
Why Blender?
Blender, like Unity, is a popular production suite that is free to download. Blender is a revolutionary tool for making 3D art digitally. With Blender, you can make art assets for games, like we do in this course.

Purchased the best unity course you could find on Udemy before, I struggled with it because it was not really clear with the basics. It was more for people that had some knowledge not the beginners like me.This course is gold , great job guys. Giving me the will to do this again

Excellent experience. It has helped me a lot.

Much easier to understand then some other courses. However, I feel that the explanation of the code was a bit rushed.

I am almost at 25% of the course. Up until now everything was really fun. There are few changes in unity program but with a bit of Internet search (and common knowledge) I managed to follow the course fine. I am a senior Java developer so the coding part wasn't an issue either. I used Rider as my IDE but either one would work fine. Up until then the Course was a solid 5 stars. And then the Blender started. I do not know why but the Instructor lucks basic teaching methods. Don't get me wrong, he is an expert on Blender but instead of teaching new comers how the program really works he is demonstrating his skills. And o my God why oh why you use keyboard shortcuts! And on a mac for Gods shake!!Someone with experience on Blender and a mac maybe would be able to follow along but for a newcomer on a Pc , no way. I had to write down all the shortcuts and pause the video every time he used one. It is a pity to have a section that bad in an otherwise really good course. I got so frustrated and so disappointed that i actually stop the lesson and came here to write the review. And one last thing. This lesson is definitely not for beginners.

I am already familiar with unity. this part is too easy for me, but it is all well explained and I appreciate that Mammoth took the time to respond to me.

So far, the instructor is clear and easy to understand. I have some coding experience so the coding section seems understandable, but I think it might be overwhelming for someone who has never coded before.
