This class is kind of like a paint and sip but with Procreate. It definitely allows you to learn the basics of Procreate to begin exploring for yourself and making your own art; but do not expect an in-depth guide for every tool on Procreate. However, it is a great confidence builder and quite fun as the projects are short and sweet.

This is a super beginner class for folks like me that just want to get their feet wet. I needed a class to teach me the basics, so I could continue on to explore on my own. The lessons were very easy to follow, well thought out and explained and fun. This course is probably a little bit outdated (it's from 2020, I think) but it's still a great course for a quick start to using procreate.

Great Intro course for learning the basics of the UI. Contained great resources for creating sellable material as well. Wish it went more into creating cleaner shapes vs focusing so heavily on hand drawn, pencil style brushes. Was a little difficult without an Apple Pencil but I suppose I'm behind the times without one.

I'm an analog artist, but a complete novice to digital art. I bought Procreate and thought, "How hard can it be to play around with it and teach myself?" The answer is extremely hard. There are SO many shortcuts and techniques to utilize the program to its full potential. This course broke it down into well-explained baby steps, and it got me quickly moving confidently through the program. I absolutely love this illustrator and her course!

I missed more of the “tips to monetize art work and making a living as a commercial artist” part explained in the introduction. It is a good course to begin with the tool, but not so much if you are somehow experienced. The tools to monetize are probably mentioned in the last video where she promotes other courses. Also, it was very clear that Lisa donated the brushes for this course :D

This is great for beginners on pro-create with actual hands-on action learning the tools while you follow along vs just learning/watching an overview of the options. I don't have much 'artist' skill but want to play and practice and this class gave me a good solid foundation of how to do that in procreate. Videos are compact and easy to follow along. Note, there are a few variations with updates to procreate but nothing that won't make sense. I have an ipad gen 9 and I could only create a 20x20, 300dpi square with 3 layers. I'm guessing this is a limitation of the ipad vs procreate version. She uses a 27x27, 300dpi square with 4 layers a lot. Just adjust the numbers for yourself. Highly recommend this quick class. In just under 2hrs I feel ready to start creating!

This course covers topics I want to use to create and sell artwork on Zazzle and Spoonflower. I've been doing surface design on my computer for the past 2 years with Inkscape and Adobe but I still need help learning how to use Procreate. This course is perfect for what I wanted to learn!

A good, top-down project-based introduction to Procreate's tools and workflow. I prefer project-based learning since it gives more context to the tools and skills I'm learning. I find I remember what I learned this way better than if I went through bottom-up videos that explain the tools and settings in isolation, e.g. a series of videos about the specific tools, like "Procreate has an alpha lock option. This is how you enable it." I wish the course were a bit longer, and I feel like there's still more details to learn, but I know enough about the app to get around and start projects on my own. The included brushes are nice.

Thank you! This was a really great first toe in the water for me using procreate. I enjoyed the projects! I was able to put my own spin on them so they felt unique to me. I came away knowing a lot more than I started with and with a growing confidence! I appreciate the way the videos were clear and you went over things again in future classes. It was well structured and I felt scaffolded as a learner! I will be looking to see what else you put out- cheers!
