I entered this course for the exercises and projects, but the explanations of the tasks are not clear and very frustrating. I find it hard to understand what I'm asked to do in each challenge.

The instructor is straight into the topic and is very practical, that's awesome!
Non-native English speakers find hard to understand his English sometimes.

I'm a complete beginner so I needed everything to be clear and straight forward. It was difficult to get set up since I have a mac. The problem statements were unclear and there were a lot of errors that made the course confusing.

I was questioning the usefulness of this course, in the beginning, but then the Exercises started to go beyond what I know. I would definitely reccomend this course to get familiar with real life data and to build more skills and knowledge within SQL!

How can you honestly expect to be tested on something that has not been taught in the course? Making assumptions that the person you are trying to teach already knows what you know is incredibly frustrating

While Brandon is extremely knowledgeable about SQL, I personally found difficulty understanding certain concepts. I, myself, had prior experience with MATLAB, VBA, and some SQL to starting this course.
I've found that in an effort to rapidly apply various concepts, going over theoretical concepts in-depth has been compromised.
I would recommend this course to a student who already has an intermediate level understanding of SQL and would like to apply their knowledge in a realistic setting, not to a beginner level student.

Providing with the ERD diagram would have helped a lot as we would not have to run each table to see the relation everytime.

The complexity of the exercises is approaching what is required in my day job. The dry humour helps! There are a few discrepancies between what is in the videos and the data, which sometimes are called out in a "blink and you miss it" text caption
