the instructor doesn't pause frequently in between to show us the changes in the output when the input is changed and this makes it very hard to follow him

the course is outdated, and contains many oversites. such as namespacing folders maping views.index to a main.html file as opposed to a sensible main.html , and thats just going through the first few videos. I've learned more from correcting these mistakes on my own then from the actual content.

full of inconsistencies from the first lesson. Guy will say you should use a certain editor, then randomly bust out sublime text. Will start working on files before telling you where they go, which is not fun when you are a cli user. If I wanted to learn django from an amateur reading a book, I could have saved myself the time and headache and just done lessons from a book. But... at least you aren't terribly out of date... oh wait.

The course itself is very informative and the instructor is engaging. However, I'm afraid the course materials are not up-to-date with the newer versions of Django. Also, even when I email for support, they still haven't responded after 13 days. However, to end on a positive note, the course itself is very well organized.

If you want to get Django under your belt you really need to just start writing Django based projects. This course took me through enough projects, explaining the hows and whys along the way, to give me the confidence needed to push forward on bigger projects of my own.

The examples are chosen well. They teach basics about Django. Instructor explains the code and function of the code segments. Template overriding could be mentioned and explained instead of writing same html over and over. Also it would be more understandable if functions (adding, deleting, admin access, etc) were to be added gradually and result is demonstrated each time. All code is written at once and all functionality is demonstrated at once. It is up to us, to match the code part and functionality when the code is being written.

This courses is top rated. The best part is live instruction, with playback. Great instructions. they are always there to answer questions, and prompt when you open an issue if you are having any trouble. you get lifetime access to the course you took!!! People looking to get their feet wet with django python programming should definitely take this course. Very well planned, easy to understand and follow, by the end you get a really good understanding of the fundamentals, if you are coming with a background in another programming language, this course will allow you to quickly get up to speed with a new, popular and useful language.

Very well made course! Covers basics as well as some more advanced stuff and the fact, that you build while watching the lectures makes the learning so much more efficient.

I enjoyed learning Python from this training and would summarise it as a great course for beginners..The course is detail oriented to learn fromn scratch. The trainer is awsome and his examples are easy to understand the concept and the language.Great course I can write python much better now.
