"Prompt Engineering Frameworks & Methodologies" offers a deep dive into practical, cutting-edge techniques that go far beyond basic AI interactions. This course equips you to systematically design, evaluate, and tune prompts so you reliably unlock the most capable, nuanced outputs – whether you're building chatbots, automating workflows, or summarizing complex information.
In this course, you will:
Develop a working knowledge of foundational and advanced prompting strategies, including Chain-of-Thought, Step-Back, and Role Prompting.
Master the use of prompt templates for consistency and efficiency in prompting design.
Apply advanced thought structures such as Tree-of-Thought, Skeleton-of-Thought, and Program-of-Thought prompting for more sophisticated reasoning and output control.
Fine-tune prompt hyperparameters like temperature, top-p, max tokens, and penalties to precisely steer model behavior.
Implement real-world prompt tuning techniques and best practices for robust, repeatable results.
Evaluate prompt output quality using industry tools (such as PromptFoo) to ensure your prompts achieve measurable results.
Why dive into prompt engineering now? As AI models become increasingly central to business and research, crafting effective prompts is the skill that distinguishes average results from true excellence. Mastering these frameworks saves time, boosts model performance, and gives you a competitive edge in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
Throughout the course, you will:
Create and iterate on custom prompt templates for varied tasks.
Experiment hands-on with multiple prompting frameworks and document their effects.
Tune and compare multiple prompt configurations for optimal model responses.
Conduct structured evaluations of your prompt designs using real-world benchmarks and tools.
This course stands apart with its comprehensive, methodical approach—grounded in the latest LLM research and hands-on industry application. Whether you're aiming to optimize a single task or architect complex multi-step workflows, you'll gain practical frameworks and actionable methodologies proven to work across the latest LLMs.

The instructor is knowledgeable about the topic and delves into some points that are often only touched upon in discussions about LLMs and prompts. I particularly appreciated the sections on some uncommon prompt types, the different LLM parameters, and prompt evaluation techniques. Last but not least, the instructor answers the questions posed (unfortunately, this isn't a common occurrence).

The course was well-structured and provided a strong understanding of prompt engineering concepts, including prompt evaluation, A/B testing, prompt tuning, and model tuning. The explanations were clear, practical, and supported by relevant real-world examples. I particularly appreciated the focus on evaluation methodologies and best practices for deploying prompts responsibly. Overall, it was an engaging and informative learning experience that enhanced both my theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Informative technical session. Topics explained and covered quite good and practical case oriented that helps to understand things in better way. However at some topics sound track is very low to listen properly without head set.

Because it comes with significant explanations that will allow to anticipate AI behaviour , now in the same time it seems to have some differences depending on the type of AI which is something not clear enough for being handled by now

Thank you for the lovely course, it gives us ample opportunity to learn and practice. Role play is really unique idea where we can apply and test our understanding. over all a great course about prompt engineering. I gained good knowledge and walking off as more informed person and can't wait to apply what I learned in this course. Thanks again !!

Very interesting content, a lot to remember so as per someone else's feedback, a glossary of terms etc could be provided for reference purposes. I would have given 5 stars but as a female, this is yet another course that only uses masculine terminology throughout the course - should do better in this day and age!

The material covered in the course is good, but the audio quality is severely lacking, with some sections being far worse than others. Thought Structures > Tree-of-Thought Prompts is an example where the audio should be reprocessed and normalized.

Very good course. The tutors are acting as mentors to help the student to complete the course, including encouragement, practical info to navigate the platform. They include small snippet at various stage to link information. The course contains role playing and analysis of strengths and suggestions for improvement.

very good content and explanation. At end i am expecting a document should be provided with template or key words that are mentioned in this chapter so individual should keep them as artifact to use them while using AI prompting.
By Michael Thompson on 6/3/2026
Very well done. I enjoyed the ai role playing exercise so you don't just receive information to remember but are tested for your full understanding. You don't fully understand a topic until you can articulate it and speak it back to someone else. Great work!
