It was exactly what I was looking for to understand what it will take to get started with my own online curriculum creation process. At this point in the course I haven’t seen a topic yet in physical organization of course content; directories and files etc. This might be something to add?

Instructor has been quite candid on explaining the intricacies of creating an online course and useful suggestions. Lots of doubts and fears will go away once you take this course in full length. I wish Instructor can keep this course updated with change in Udemy policies and its online features.

This is very interesting course for instructors who are planning to prepare Udemy course and publish it online. All the required planning, promotion, pricing, free coupons , marketing are covered in this course. How to prepare videos, voice over if need for the course are missing and hopefully instructor take this feedback to improve the course further.

This course is absolutely amazing. Joseph is a cool down to earth person, i love the way he showed that you don't necessarily have to have all the answers before you begin creating your course. I am very happy I found this course just when I was getting frustrated. I wish I found this video before creating my first course it would have saved me hours of frustration, I will even apply things I learned from this course to optimize and promote my present and future courses to gain more exposure and reach more student which ultimately means more sales. I watched the course in one go. It was easy to follow and now I know, what to expect when uploading a course to Udemy. However, there is no content in this course how to structure your lectures or sections (contentwise). I would appreciate more information on that topic! Anyway, thank you for sharing this course with actual value.

I found the detail explanations on the what to do and how to do the actions in getting the course completed in a day extremely helpful. The details that included what not to do were extremely useful as well. I like the energy of the instructor as he remembers to engage with the audience as he did things on the screen and keeps us included in the conversation. I am glad I did this course. It is encouraging to me as a first time instructor on Udemy.

The instructor is great, videos are high quality, plenty of topics covered. However, the only content type for lectures explained are videos (there are more content types available - articles, slides, quizzes etc.). A felt a bit bored while watching Lecture 20, 27 and 28 (Section 3), an excessive amount of time spent on watching what the instructor is typing.

Good information to have... overall a very good course! Thanks for taking the time and effort to put this together. Due to the information you provided I have decided to change my intended format more to screen capture voice over slide lecture format primarily with some intro, mid and conclusion videos (talking head in the corner mainly) .

Good overview of course creation nicely delivered in short periode of time. Interesting for new potentinal online teachter particulary for the Udemy Platform. Topics discussed are: How to upload test video? How to add lectures? How to make Educational/Pomotinal Announcements? The course is not about how teach online, how to produce video's (talkinghead, screencaptures).
