Everything is immaculate so far , Explanations are clear and straight forward , its easy to follow and understand, yet very informative. The course requires extensive research as well to solve a couple of errors that surface with programs and installations.

This course probably would have been a lot better a couple years ago. There is a random module about updating the look and feel of Ubuntu that is probably unnecessary and doesn't work become Ubuntu is no longer Unity based. There is a module that install a version on java that is 10 revs behind as well. I was excited to learn about Github but those modules were done poorly compared to the previous. He uses "branches in steps 40-43 but doesn't explain what they are until step 44. Lots of assumed knowledge, especially in the development realm for a beginner course. Basically the second half of the course requires some developer knowledge and probably cannot be followed along by a beginner.

I'm not really sure who this course is aimed at. It's too advanced for anyone just starting out and it's too shallow for anyone with some experience (which is the category I fall into). There are numerous mistakes in the content (e.g. configuring Apache to run under your user account is a big mistake) and nearly all of the examples fail to run properly. The early section on using some of the command like tool is ok and the networking section isn't terrible as it very briefly covers most of the main tools.

Video an installation instructions is a waste of time!
Installation instructions with screenshots are much more helpful.
Simply because it is easier to follow from a list. It is printable for offline...
