Here is the testimonial from my students:

  • To all of you that are looking for a REALLY GOOD LINUX course, THIS IS IT, SERIOUSLY I promise you won't find a course on LINUX here that is THIS GOOD. -- T.J. Marstiller (Udemy Student)

  • Imran is a very knowledgeable and engaging instructor. As others have said, you can tell that he is not just trying to sell a course, but that he is invested in giving his students a strong career foundation with a positive and approachable attitude. He is also entertaining with his use of pop culture and practical work examples. It really feels like you're in a classroom with him. I'm taking this course mainly as a hobbyist, but got a lot from it already. The homework assignments, quizzes, and handouts help reinforce the material.   -- Raymond B.  (Udemy Student)

Teaching is great....!! Author in this course teaches about troubleshooting steps of a "Linux Administrator" but its for Level 1 only. All the basis troubleshooting steps which a L1 person goes through on daily basis has been clearly explained by practically executing the commands on the Terminal. I'll highly recommend for the newbies who have newly Learned the Linux course and who also wants to learn Hands on Troubleshooting.... you'll definitely get a good knowledge with a Hands on.

By Ewen Pinto on 6/21/2022

Course is good enough to understand various troubleshooting methods used in Linux and is well structured but lacks certain real life examples that would help in better understanding of the concepts. Also the audio on most courses is fine but on some its like listening to a broken radio FM.

By Theirno Bah on 6/18/2022

honestly speaking among all the teachers i have taken courses from so far, wheither on udemy, youtube or google. Imran is the best of all. The way he teaches is like someone teaching to little kindergarden children. i would always recommend him . cha batch

Inconsistent audio. Incorrect information not corrected despite the teacher saying they'd correct it. Screen at times smaller than desirable. Videos are corrected with bandages rather than re-recorded. Some explanations betray a lack of understanding or are misleadning. Teacher veers off from their lesson plan. Otherwise a generally helpful course, well organized if not professionally executed.

Edit: Because quick respond to my complain I have edit my ratings. The duplicated videos has been removed and the sound problems is been working on to fix, so I can recommend this course. (my old rating 1. Sometimes the audio is VERY quiet so you have to turn the volume to full to hear the lesion. But the next video start VERY loud so if you are learning after your family is already sleeping, they will wake up!!!! 2. There are LOT of duplicated videos!!! 47. Extend Disk with LVM (14:10) = 106. Extend Disk with LVM (14:10) 56. Add Swap Space (12:59) = 105. Add Swap Space (12:59) 71. Rollback Updates and Patches (14:22) = 103. Rollback Updates and Patches (14:19) 82. System Logs Monitor /var/log (11:08) = 99. System Logs Monitoring - Additional (11:08) Why all these duplicated videos?? ) A good Linux Curse

This is a very useful course and it really gives you the appropriate knowledge for troubleshooting CentOS Linux! He is a very good teacher with a nice and honest approach. The only problem you're facing is that the sound of the video recordings is not in a good balance which is quite annoying...so please teacher take of it in the future! Anyway this course gives you a better understanding of Linux for any level! Congratulations!

I really enjoy this instructor, he is engaging and modulates his voice well so you aren't being put to sleep. The way he says some things is really cool, it shows his excitement in his subject matter. There are some really good lectures even for experienced Linux administrators in this course.

By Ninoslav KURTALJ on 7/16/2019

Imran is an extraordinary educator. I like this course a lot. I recently went through some other Linux courses, from some other people, the courses were excellent, but they were not good educators as Imran is. If Udemy put together the best educator of the year reward, he is the one who deserves such a reward.

Thanks Imran Afzal for providing me with valuable tools. I am looking forward to utilizing these practical skills. The hands-on experience you provided was very user-friendly and well crafted. I highly recommend this course "Linux Troubleshooting Course with Practical Examples" for anyone who is following career path in Linux!!

By Mike Austin on 3/15/2019

The source material was good and the Instructor does a good job of explaining the subject matter. However, I could barely see the commands or the results from them, due to the terminal background color. Someone should have notice this before putting this course into production. Imran is a very good Instructor...disappointed with this one.
