Detailed, concise and easy to understand. Was able to learn what I needed to know to do my job administering Linux for corporate applications. Thank you Imran.

Imran is a great tutor and the course is just digestable and straight to the point with the essentials needed to go beyond complete beginner level. Thanks for this break down of complexe topics

By Iuri Fernandes Vaz on 8/18/2026

This course is great, the explanations about the topics have a great detail, and the labs provide a good way to learn in practice how to administer RHEL, in my case I did this course to improve my Linux knowledge and skills and I learned a lot of things that i considered really difficult before doing the course, so I can say it went above my expectations

Great for admins who already have experience w/ Linux command-line. Puts things into perspective and does a good job at providing real use-cases that would occur as a Junior or Level 1 Linux Admin. But please stop using CentOS. RedHat 10 is FREE. Simply sign up for a RedHat Dev account and start training your Students on actual RedHat. You claim there is no difference and that is not true. For example, root password changes are not accurate from CentOS to RedHat. In RedHat 10 it is: rd.break. This is costing me and others hours of extra time to try and differentiate between CentOS and RHEL and what commands to actually use. You owe that to the people who are paying you. Other than that you are a natural teacher and did a good job, but the sound quality and outdated material along with CentOS is going to severely impact your Students ability to actually pass their RHCSA.

So... this course would be great for those just getting into IT, but... there’s a big “but”... This course uses a huge number of outdated approaches... And this is pretty easy to fix—just copy the text from the video into GPT or another AI tool and ask which approaches are outdated. Imran Afzal, please update the course And for those of you who are already seasoned pros, you can actually finish this course in a couple of days if you have some free time—just feed the subtitles into GPT, read the summary, and skip what you don’t need. Essentially, this course gives you a good roadmap and an understanding of the specifics of Red Hat tools if you’ve only dabbled with RHEL-like distros before; otherwise, it’s perfect for absolute beginners. Overall, it’s a good course. If you know absolutely nothing about Linux, set it as your main operating system, spend some time with it, struggle through it for a month, and then buy and take this course—that’s exactly what you need.

The submitted assignments show pending for the peer feedback. It would be great, if those would get marked completed automatically after some time.

This course provided an excellent learning experience and helped me build a strong foundation in Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration. The instructor explained both basic and advanced RHCSA topics in a clear and structured manner, making complex concepts easier to understand. I particularly enjoyed the hands-on approach, practical demonstrations, and real-world examples covering user management, file systems, networking, services, storage management, SELinux, firewalls, and containers. The course content closely follows the RHCSA EX200 objectives, which helped me gain confidence in performing Linux administration tasks. The role-play exercises, quizzes, and command-line demonstrations reinforced my understanding and provided valuable practical experience. By the end of the course, I felt much more comfortable managing Linux systems in a professional environment. Overall, I highly recommend this course to anyone preparing for the RHCSA certification or looking to improve their Linux system administration skills.

By Eric Reiss on 3/26/2026

Overall the content was good but there were numerous corrections and a few that were not explained. The pre-requisites were mentioned twice in section 1 and 3. There are numerous occurrences of corrections injected in the middle of a lesson, some are correct, some are not and there is no explanation. The lecturer has you powering off the VMs rather than shut them down, this is like pulling the power on a running Linux instance, not a good practice. Other speaking annoyances like saying SELinux on one bullet of a slide and on the bullet two down spells out SELinux as S.E. L.i.n.u.x. ASCII is promounced "a·skee" not "a scuzzy". So many little annoyances that I made some notes on during the course and others I did not bother. But the course was useful for a 12 hour course.

The instructor explains the course with practical exercises. It's really helped me to understand the concept clearly. Thanks Imran for your great effort to explain in simple and easy way.

By Alan G Sterling on 3/6/2026

I like that you focus on skills necessary to complete exam. The content in the beginning of the course is a bit more polished than the end (it feels rushed) and also the OS covered should definitely be updated to reflect current versions of RHEL. Specifically, the versions covered should be whatever the current version of RHCSA covers. Additionally, references to and links to the exam should be included such as how to register/etc. Thanks for the learning opportunity.
