Udemy system is not letting me complete my course, not letting me get my certificate as well. I completed all stages correctly, but Udemy website is not giving me my certificate. I demand refund of my course money. Not going to recommend this course to anyone.

He isn't like other tech courses mainly ones that focus on ai(Those just make everything confusing to make things sound more interesting but instead they just deter people from continuing it). This is the opposite he actually tries to make things understandable.

Very effective way of teaching. Showing slides while talking through whatever it may be. The step by step breakdown for every section and assignment is also very helpful. Along with being shown other new resources, at least to me, such as Google collab. They convey their passion for Python which is very encouraging and motivating for what this 'new world' of coding has to offer.

While this, given the timing, may not have been the best fit course for me, personally, I would not hesitate to recommend this course to a programming newbie. Dr. Larry has impeccable attention to detail without the fluff, and all with a friendly attitude. His explanations are clear and concise. Repetition is used judiciously where it benefits reinforcement of concepts without the drag. It was a refreshing review of the basic concepts for me. The course is organized well and the videos were fun to watch, that I didn't notice time flying by on some of the longer videos. And if you're not comfortable with installing an IDE and dealing with its idiosyncrasies, well, you don't have to worry about that here. This is truly a beginner friendly course that I wish had existed when I started learning Python.

It was a good refresher for me, and Lawrence explains really good (thank you Lawrence). What I liked the most, was exercises that are pretty well on google colabs. It's a really good introduction to programming in Python.

Larry provides an accessible introduction to Python for absolute beginners, guiding them from creating an account in Google Colab and typing their first "Hello" to the World to calling an API to code their own playable game. The self-guided nature of the course and collaborative, asynchronous feedback from instructors and peers fits easily into a busy schedule.

I love Larry's style of presentation and the analogies he uses to describe things. I look forward to continuing this course and seeing what other lessons he will develop.

This course is a game-changer for beginners in Python! The course's exceptional accessibility, hands-on approach, and well-paced curriculum make learning Python a breeze, even for those with no prior programming experience. Whether you aspire to become a professional developer or want to explore coding as a hobby, this course provides an excellent foundation. It's definitely a must enroll for anyone looking to kickstart their Python journey.

Hello, I am taking this course because of its structure for learning python (ie quizzes) AND the instructor appears to have a final project as a game. More in depth, the game is really a precursor to another project I have of implementing a much more sophisticated game simulation using more involved machine learning and artificial intelligence architecture. Just think of the Hollywood creation of the "Red Queen" from Resident Evil but with a much more mundane task/ability of playing the opponent in a simulation game (no FPS). I thought this task would fairly ubiquitous (ie Go and poker) but it is not. Thank you!

I haven't completed the entire course yet, but if the sections on "Computing" and "Why Python" indicate the overall quality, I'm eager to finish the rest. The explanations in these sections are crystal clear and articulated in an accessible yet entertaining manner. The instructor has a captivating presence that enhances the learning experience.
