I had no hands-on experience on how the S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda works with Python, and my current assignment uses this a lot which was too overwhelming for me at the moment, and then I came across this course. I loved the hands on experience which gave me some real good idea on these services, and how they are integrated using Python. Thank you for this course.

This was a very good course. It touched on so many AWS services, each with a good overview. I started coding a few python scripts before I finished the course. I'm glad some AI tools were covered as I will need one. Thank you for the great course!

Overall a very good course, But it uses AWS Cloud 9 extensively, which is no longer available to new AWS users. Course would benefit from redo with pycharm or vscode instead of cloud 9. I was able to complete the course but there was some guesswork involved in trying to figure out how to do some things in pycharm that are different from the clound 9 examples in the course.

It's fast but thorough. I would not recommend this to a person who is wholly inexperienced in Python & AWS because of the speed at which the course moves. I'm an OG working in on-prem infrastructure, and I have my CCP to prep for my org's move to the cloud. I am a few months into Python studies as a total noob and picked up this course to understand the boto3 library. I am doing well understanding the material which speaks to the good presentation (the struggle is often real). I enjoy the labs because they are analogous to daily infrastructure work.

The content is useful, but the code is not being explained properly. For instance, the 'billing_bucket' name is being extracted from an event.json even before the event.json is shown. And, there is no explanation of how the event.json came into being. There's ought to be a better way to explain code, rather than just read it line by line. But overall, the content is very useful.

Course content quite good if only a shallow dive in Python. To follow along more easily and save a lot of time I recommend using a new self signed up AWS account rather than a corporate shared one which is what I used which had some differences in sign on and VPC handling which tripped me up a lot. I ended up using VS Code IDE as Cloud9 gave me issues.

It is an amazing course and I enjoy this course very much. I learn from Eric's course step by step. I really appreciate the time he has put into this course. I am very happy with the course and many thanks Eric for sharing his knowledge via this course.

The course is well structured and covers most of the cloud real-world use cases. A good course to quickly get an understanding of python. The hands-on labs are interesting and a few of them are challenging enough and keeps the labs interesting. Recommend the course to anyone wanting to learn python fundamentals.

The content offered in this course is of exceptional quality and is impressively up-to-date, reflecting the latest knowledge and trends in the field as of 2023. In particular, the section dedicated to Data Analytics stands out as a highlight. The comprehensive coverage and depth of insights in this section greatly enhance the overall learning experience. I found the small projects involving AWS Glue and EMR to be particularly engaging and valuable. However, I believe that further enriching this section with additional AWS Glue Studio Notebooks, EMR and Kinesis would be a valuable enhancement.
By Debye Leong on 8/12/2023
Can't say I enjoyed the sections for Python. A lot of time was devoted to very very basic Python stuff which was fine... Yet, the instructor was not very clear as he kept glossing over syntax, concept that absolute Python beginners will not know. In the end I can't even tell if this course was meant for Python beginners. Very confusing to say the least.
