-----------
This is a refresher course in Mathematics for students who studied Math and Physics through 12th grade high school, but have now forgotten many of the details. In less than 4 hours I review the Math you will need to understand quantum computing concepts.
The focus is on getting you up to speed as quickly as possible. I cover what you need to know: Probability, Statistics, Boolean Logic, Complex Numbers, and Linear Algebra. You will not waste time on topics you do not need for quantum computing.
To get the most out of this course, you need to have already studied Math at a 12th grade level in high-school. This is merely a review course to help you refresh your memory. If you have not studied these topics in high school, then this 4 hour course cannot substitute for 2 years of high school Math classes.
This course reviews basic high-school Math. It doesn't go into any details about quantum physics or quantum computing. Those topics will be discussed in subsequent courses of this series.

I am passionate about making technology easy to understand. I have taught students at the University of Massachusetts and guided software professionals at Cadence Design Systems, iCOMS, Empirix, Relona, and Johnson & Johnson.
My goal is to help you earn more than $200,000 annually as a software professional. I focus on teaching AI and Quantum Computing because these are the highest paid skills in the industry.
My courses help beginners who have a basic understanding of high school Math and coding. In about 6 months you can complete several courses and become an expert earning $200+ per hour.
In addition to teaching technical skills, I also help you build leadership ability. My courses discuss trade-offs between various technical choices and help you take wise decisions. As an expert software professional, you will be able to recommend solutions, suggest implementation choices, and guide software design.
My courses have a 30 day money back guarantee. Check out the free video previews and enroll today.
I have an electrical engineering degree from IIT and a masters degree in computer science from the University of Massachusetts. I have managed software teams and helped startups launch products in international markets.

I appreciated the lengthy explanation and examples of linear algebra. I thought the course was weak on the trigonometric pieces and assumed the student remembered more of that than in the case of linear algebra. If you get confused in the trig parts, you might benefit from this link to wikipedia: exact trig values - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exact_trigonometric_values

This is an excellent brush-up course to prepare for Quantum Computing. It made me revise required maths concept that I had learned way back in the college. Very simple explanations, short videos but thorough coverage and lots of examples - all of this makes this course very engaging. The only thing I wished was, some of the content could also be given in PDF format to revise later. Not possible to go through videos all the time when revision is needed.

I have been learning Quantum computing for some time now and has learned all this mathematics as a subject in my graduation. So when I started this course, i had no expectations. Still, there are couple of points in the course which make it worthwhile to me. It makes it very clear why these mathematical conecpts are used in Quantum. I feel the course is too slow but I watched it at 2x speed, so not an issue as such.

Intuitive explanations were good. The only point I may recommend an improvement about this course is that you should prove what you have shown in your presentation. The need of each mathematical tool for quantum computing is well summarized. But they are just given, not proven.

Kumaresan Ramanathan knows what he is talking about, is clear and concise. The slides are clear and helpful too. Nothing new for me so far but the way it is explained is fresh and different from most explanations / textbooks. It is therefore a great refresher.

I learned much of this math many years ago in University, and now that I'm interested in using quantum computing it was a great refresher on these topics. The math concepts were well-explained, slides and examples were helpful and the bite-sized videos helped me move along quickly. I'd highly recommend this as a first step to learning or re-learning math for QC.

I would have expected more real case Q exercices, and try and error. This is the way to learn. I feel that no w I am left alone ith this theory and need to find my way on ho to apply it and ask for help to see if I understood correctly This is also a general comment for Udemy courses : no enough real life exercice, that lead to having notes, that gives credibility to the diploma at the end...

I'm a person doing a masters in physics. So I'm already well familiar with most of the mathematics and physics in this course. I'm taking this course because I want to get into quantum computing and the standard books are too obtuse. Even though I'm familiar with most of this mathematics, but the beauty of this course lies in the fact that it contextualises where the mathematics will be needed in the study of quantum mechanics, and gives enough examples to make you understand where the maths will be necessary. The topics have been simplified to make it easier for those without prior introductions to the mathematics, rather successfully. Can't recommend this enough.

Explained the basics of otherwise very difficult topics so very well. For the first time I am able to understand the basic maths behind the complex Quantum Physics books that I tried reading. Thanks - you have made it so simple to understand that I am now confident of delving deeper into this fascinating subject. There are minor typos in some topics (I think topic 57 & 60 etc. where some square root signs are missing). But thanks - loved this course.

I found it exceptional, succinct and well laid out step by step, a gift. Go double speed through stuff you know and slow down through areas you need to nail down. This is the required mathematical foundation as spoon fed as you can get, and one can spend enormous time and energy getting there otherwise. I say thank you!!
