So far the actual information is great. My only observation is the course was created using the 2020 platform. Intuit has made updates to the platform since then, including the sign up process. This may be confusing for newer users of QBO. Would be beneficial to either update the course using the new platform or give a 5 min tutorial on the new layout and how it correlates to the older platform.

I feel like I struck gold! The author is equipping me to set up and use QuickBooks Online with overall knowledge and UNDERSTANDING of the accounting practices used in nonprofit scenarios. Much appreciative!

Hell yes!! Robert (Bob) Steele is an incredibly knowledgeable CPA, with an engaging and fun demeanor (relative to the professional world, I mean without sacrificing serious content).

A lot of information up front very quickly, without much basic information on how to maneuver through the screens. Would have helped to have that information up front. then come back to hit the reports after. I am unable to get the free trial since we already use online AB at our office.

I have extensive knowledge of accounting so find that part rather annoying, but I am learning the tricks to using Quickbooks online for classes etc. Great. Excellent Course.

The course is great! I would definitely recommend, it compares for-profit vs no profit in some scenarios which I felt is good for understanding the difference. I would have liked to see quickbooks company be setup as a non-profit so the terminology on the reports and some of the chart of accounts would be the actual accounts that you would use but the explanations sufficed.

I have never done any bookkeeping and am interested in finding a job in that area. I first started this particular instructor's "Mastering Quickbooks Online 2023..." course and completed the first 5-6 sections of that before starting this course (that way, the navigation and overall concepts were already explained.) The Mastering course is LONG, but very thorough, so I've got a ways to go on that. This course is also very detailed and the differences between for-profit and not-for-profit are continuously enforced. I'm very impressed with the lessons!

Personally I felt a little lost at the very beginning of section 1 going on 4 &5. I noticed the benefit of TechSoup for non-profits was not mentioned and I believe is a great resource. Now that I am on section 2, I see a much better benefit and see myself navigating much better and understanding the points I was unsure about before. It's getting good!

Gives very good specifics about how to use a software that was made for use by For Profit companies, and customize it so it's appropriate for Not For Profit organizations. He has a good grasp of the complexities of those differences.

It is good to see, in advance, how to utilize QB online. Currently we have desk top version. Still waiting to see if the actual issues and questions I have will arise in the coming sections.
