Course Description
Want to learn React the modern, fast, and real-world way — without the fluff?
This beginner-friendly React JS course takes you from your very first app to building practical, reusable components and interactive features — all using the latest setup: React + Vite + Bootstrap 5.
You won’t just learn React syntax. You’ll build clean UIs, dynamic forms, API-based components, and polished features that mirror what real developers do on the job.
--
Learn by Building — Not by Memorizing
Instead of endless theory, this course guides you through real examples and practical challenges. From the very beginning, you’ll scaffold a project using Vite, a much faster and more modern alternative to Create React App.
You’ll write components, style them with Bootstrap, and inject dynamic behavior using props, state, and JSX expressions. Each concept is introduced with clear narration, followed by an immediate hands-on application inside your app.
--
What Makes This Course Different?
You’ll build mini-projects and reusable UI blocks that reflect real-life development needs:
A counter app
A greeting form
A user list from an API
Filterable product cards
Show/hide password inputs
Tabbed UI interfaces
Dark/light mode toggle with localStorage
Full feedback form with modal confirmation
And more.
This is not a to-do list app repeated five times. This is React the way it’s meant to be learned — with clean logic, interactivity, styling, and structure.
--
Core Concepts You’ll Master
You’ll go from writing your first JSX snippet to understanding how and when to use useState, useEffect, useRef, and conditional rendering. You’ll learn how to build controlled forms, validate user input in real time, and even manage your app’s look and feel with a dark/light theme toggle.
You’ll also discover how to split large components, lift state up, and organize your folders like professional dev teams do — using a modular, scalable structure.
--
Tech Stack You’ll Use
This course uses the latest tools in React frontend development:
React 18+ with functional components and modern hooks
Vite as the build tool for lightning-fast startup and dev refresh
Bootstrap 5.3+ for styling UI components
ES6+ JavaScript, including destructuring, arrow functions, and more
No backend, no databases — just frontend logic and a practical development environment you can use for your portfolio or freelance gigs.
--
Who This Course Is For
This course is made for absolute beginners and HTML/CSS/JS learners who are ready to step into the world of React. It’s also ideal for developers coming from other frameworks like jQuery, Vue, or Angular — and want to see how React builds reusable, composable UIs.
Bootcamp students, self-learners, and early-career devs will benefit from the hands-on project format. If you’re tired of dry tutorials and want to build things that feel real, this course is for you.
--
What You’ll Need
You don’t need any fancy tools or prior React experience. Just:
A computer with internet access
Node.js and a code editor like VS Code (both are free)
A modern browser like Chrome or Brave
Everything else will be explained step by step — including how to install Vite and Bootstrap using NPM.
--
By the End of This Course…
You won’t just “know” React — you’ll use it. You’ll have built reusable components, structured your code the right way, used all the essential hooks, and crafted a UI that actually responds to users.
Whether you want to build your own portfolio project, apply for jobs, or freelance, you’ll have the confidence and skill to start building React apps that look and behave like real products.

That's when I discovered Udemy, and I was inspired to create courses that could empower learners by teaching once and reaching many.
As a self-taught web designer and developer, I believe in a hands-on approach to learning. My teaching philosophy follows the 80/20 rule, where 80% of my courses focus on practical applications, while only 20% covers theory. This method ensures that my students gain the essential skills needed to excel in the ever-evolving world of web development.

I really like the clear and succinct guidance for customizing components in React & Vite.
By Siddu Hedaginal on 12/24/2025
This is an excellent tutorial for absolute beginners. The concepts are explained clearly, making React feel easy to learn and approachable. The examples are well-chosen and highly relevant, which helps in understanding the fundamentals effectively. It is an excellent course for anyone looking to start their React journey, and I would strongly recommend it.

I like the short and to the point lessons very much. They are simple, easy to understand and very well explained with examples. Perhaps this course will not be very advanced and detailed (I do not know yet), but it is ideal for beginners.
By Erick Eduardo Muñoz González on 2/22/2022
great introduction but needs update the life cycle part now that some methods are considered unsafe on latest releases and think that part (color changing) should be implemented in the main project for a better understanding
By Muhammad Yusuf Auliya on 10/19/2021
For the introduction, this is perfect for newbie like me. But can we have the version with react.js from npm?
By Otto on 1/8/2021
Not a course I would pay, unfortunately there is barely any teaching. Just quick videos to give you an overview. Would be best served as an overview video series on youtube. Also not everyone uses chrome.
By bhumika rupera on 12/30/2020
Explained nicely, although some parts need to be elaborated. Also, it would be good, if source code is provided

Heartful thanks to the instructor Mr.Fatah Gabrial and Udemy for providing this course. It gives a hands-on experience in building a sample applications with complete code.
By Nicolas Sebastian Ugarte on 10/22/2020
The course was really nice for somewhat of a seasoned begginner. That being said though I do believe the next couple of points could be handled better: 1) The Course professor could specify in the "Keys in react JS" lesson that the method componentWillMount is a default method inherited from react instead of a custom one and if named differently it would not work 2) I do believe the final 2 lessons or chapters (23 & 24) should have been given at the start of the notes project as a base in which to expand upon instead of manually re-acommodating the whole app to fit a standard create-react-app project. Besided this 2 comments I believe the course is overall great for beginners-intermidiates looking to break ground with react.
By Royson Paul Immanuel on 8/8/2020
This is a crisp straight forward course for absolute beginners who has no knowledge in React and want to get started in just under 2hrs time.
