Rest API/Web Services testing with SoapUI+Realtime scenarios (Udemy.com)

Get this Course if you wanna learn SoapUI from Scratch for API Testing. This course includes more of SOAP API than REST API One of the biggest cons I faced is all the Test Services in Resources were very old and most of them were not working, If its getting updated it would be better. My Suggestion is watch it on 1.25-1.5X and practice throughout along the course.

Course is well structured and very detailed. I feel few videos need to be added for REST API automation. Everything else is good. Before starting the course I have zero knowledge on web services testing. Now I can write groovy scripts also. Thanks for the detailed course.

His teaching is realistic, step-by-step, so simple and easy to understand. His explanation on purpose of creating / using / not using / having / not having test steps features etc are really excellent and helps to remember what and why we are doing. His explanation on how each component in the SoapUi tool integrates and talks to each other is also really nice. Good job! Congrats!! Suggestion: Some topics were covered for Mac system and some other for Windows system. It will be great if topics are covered for Mac as well. But for this, the course is really excellent.

This course was professional! The instructor explained everything in a perfectly detailed manner. During the course I had a couple of questions and I got the answers almost immediately. This course is very good to know the SOAP UI tool, and not bad knowledge about the web services types with very helpful instructor, clear voice, clear language. but it doesn't cover the testing itself for the web services, the what should be tested and the testing strategy

I'm an intermediate SoapUI user, and this course filled in the gaps in my knowledge to bring me to the next level. It starts off with the basics, but progresses through intermediate and advanced topics. The instructor is easily understood and explains concepts well.

Hi Sashi R, FeedBack - Course is very good and worth the investment Highly recommend every fresher to go thru this training who want to learn API Testing Specially liked the Swagger bit not many people have used but I have used it my Projects and the excel and .txt automation in groovy Whats I missed and would like to see 1. Assertions on Xpaths - count, exists and Regular expressions i use these, hence i recommend to be included in course 2. Mock Responses for REST API for Template and Query Parameters, It is different from SOAP and DISPATCH TYPE WITH SCRIPT. 3. Can include wsdl run context as we can run test steps belonging to other Tests in the same suite [If you can help with Query Parameter mock service example that will be great ] Hope you can add it. The course has definitely helped me to improve my understanding of SoapUI and Webservices. I am yet to complete the course so looking forward. Shashi explains the topic in such a manner that one can understand easily. A small improvement area is the video quality, it gets blur sometimes. I would surely recommend this course if you are looking for complete understanding of soapUI.

So far so good. Very easy to follow along. Communicates clearly and provides both verbal and written examples. As the course progresses, at times seems to rush through more challenging subjects such as the Json Groovy section. For a beginners course this is certainly 5 stars but beyond that it seems to lack detailed explanations at times. However he is very responsive so perhaps I will reach out and see if he could point me in the right direction and regain the 5th star
