First, I think this course could have easily been condensed into a 6-paragraph blog post or a 15 minute YouTube video. Second, I think the course title is misleading. "Critical thinking" is more in the domain of philosophy and literature. This course is talking about a very niche scenario about scams-- which to his credit, he fully discloses early on in the introduction and in the overview section of the course. Third, for the content, he talks about how to critically think and avoid bad decisions as it relates to con artists and scammers. He outlined strategies used by scammers. I thought it was very simplified and somewhat misleading. These "tricks" are used in marketing, advertising, and business. It's misleading to brand them as con artists strategies. If anything, this course can be rebranded as tips or strategies for being a smarter consumer. I can tell the course was created with good intentions, but its a no for me

The course was very informative, the instructor provided his own personal experiences and he provided the red flags to look out for, along with examples. I really enjoyed this course and will be able to use the information given in my daily life.

This course is short yet full of necessary information we so often take for granted or would presume our common sense would kick in. I gained a lot of valuable lessons from this course

This course was very eye opening and informative, I knew some of the things but I have also learn a lot of new things from this course.....very relevant in the decision we make at work, personally and financially....

OK - well presented and clear. Mostly focused on high-pressure tactics that sales and/or con artists use, how to identify them, and how to react. Often the same tactics are used with junk email / phising, so if you've had some basic training on how to identify such scams, you will likely be familiar with most if not all concepts presented in this course.

The rules seems to be common sense when taught but often overlooked in many situations. Having these rules presented have re-enforced my understanding to keep my guards up. I found it ironic that the rules are the same as those taught in marketing course but in the opposite direction.

I love this course it is very brief and talks about really practical tactics to avoid bad investment decisions. I love the first technic the most because I always make quick decisions and now I know the importance of taking time to let my rational thinking work better. Thanks a lot
