SAS Programming BASE certification course for SAS Beginners (Udemy.com)

This course is SO MUCH BETTER than some of my required courses in my masters' degree in just explaining the PROC statements. There is no need to overcomplicate it; just learn the fundamentals THE RIGHT WAY. Would recommend this course to ANYONE interested in SAS

It has been a good experience so far.

The material and the exercises are of good level and you can tell a lot of effort has been put in the course. However there are some things that could be very confusing for real beginners e.g. we learn about complex topics like arrays and do loops before we learn what the proc print does that's being used in pretty much every coding example. The order of the examples and names of the coding files have changed over time so that's confusing as well. Finally, the accent of the presenter is very difficult to understand (even the captions don't help) which makes it harder for beginners to follow what the presenter says. If I wasn't an experienced user and I hadn't paid just 20 for the course, my rating would have been much lower.

Took the course, done within 2 weeks, attended the Base SAS exam and cleared. I can say almost 90% topics were covered in the course. It will be helpful if you can take up Base SAS practice exams also.
Now looking forward to take the Advanced SAS course from Sharon.

Gave four rating as I have only started.but instructor support is excellent she responds to your queries very fast .will give five if satisfied at the end of course

1) The slides are too wordy and the tutor simply reads it. So can't focus on what is actually going on
2) Rather than showing live examples, the tutor shows all the written examples. We don't need tutor for it. We can simply read theory and read the codes
3) At some places, I saw that tutor has not provided to the queries saying it's not on top of her mind (question was to print odd and even chars in a string)
4) Pace is too slow making the video too lengthy. No voice modulation
5) Content is also not good for a beginner

It is a good match, as I was looking for a SAS course which is taught slowly and step by step. Perfect for a very new learner like me.

Completamente soddisfatto. Da migliorare la traslazione in sottotitoli dell'audio: alcune parole vengono rese, nei sottotitoli, in modo errato. Se per caso si fa la traduzione in un'altra lingua i risultati possono essere abbastanza strani. Ad esempio un "step guide" e "code by code" sono stati presi come "sad" e "combat code"...e quindi si arriva ad avere una "triste guida al codice di combattimento"
Non do 5 stelle piene solo per un motivo: si da per scontato che lo studente abbia delle piccole conoscenze di informatica pregresse; sia chiaro: veramente piccole e si rimedia ragionando un filo o guardando con attenzione i filmati. Ma per il resto tutto perfetto!
