We will start this course with very basic and try to understand what SDR is? Then we will look into the concept of frequencies. After that will setup our lab environment for practical work. Then will start with easy concepts of listening to radio stations and tracking aircraft details without the use of internet, following this we will move to some intermediate concepts of listening to ISS (International Space Station) and scanning wireless doorbell, wireless switch and car remote frequencies then we will advance towards more complex topics which includes sniffing Pager and DMR data and how to decode it. After that we will switch gears to see how to transmit frequencies starting with broadcasting your own Radio Station. Then we will see how to hack wireless doorbell, wireless switch and car remote using Replay Attack. After that we will move to advance concept of transmitting frequencies of Pager and DMR. After that we will try to understand highly advance and more complex topics of sniffing and listening frequencies which includes GSM Sniffing and Sniffing on Monitor screens just by using RTL-SDR Dongle we will also see how to jam signals in control lab environment and broadcast TV frequency.

Over all rather disappointing:
- sometimes blurry videos
- calling intermodulation frequencies "bad frequencies" is just wrong
- no explanation what modulation is used by all the examples
- the ISS example was decoding an SSTV transmission, it was called 'listening' to the ISS; there are FM-transmitterers/repeaters on the ISS where you can actually listen.

Really good content, with very good explanations. Wish this was done more in Kali Linux as most red hat users use Ubuntu and Debian machines for their work. Made it work though, overall great class and recommend to anyone learning and trying to use SDR for hacking.

The course needs to clearly mention the hardware that is used on this course rather a selection of hardware. Topic seems to be good, but how it is presented doesn't seem to be attractive. Modules lengths are okay.

This is an excellent intro to ethical hacking using SDR dongles, Raspberry Pi and HackRF devices. The step-by-step instructions provided to download and configure the software and hardware devices is top notch with a level of detail sufficient for even a novice to successfully execute. One of my favorite sections is receiving and decoding SSTV transmissions from the International Space Station! This section should appeal especially to a very diverse audience. Great job!

I think the SDRSharp and Raspberry Pi sections should be earlier in the course. For me it took a couple hours to download VirtualBox, Kali-Linux, and Pentoo and you really don't need those until the last sections. I did appreciate the Pi-Fm-RDS and got it to work on my Raspberry Pi. I definitely learned some new tools and techniques.
