Course Description
This is an in depth photography course teaching you the fundamentals of fitness photography. An intermediate to advance photographer who understands off camera lighting will gain much more from this course than a beginner. You should have an understanding of basic camera setting, lens types, aperture controls, remote flash triggering. I will demonstrate how to produce great work with the least expensive equipment and to do it quickly to save time.
We will cover, the fundamentals of lighting athletes for drama, action or art, essentially to either highlight his or her physique to sell themselves, a product or a business. Also covered will be some basic marketing techniques that I use to get athletes to work with me and how you can get started. There will be assignments involving submitting work from an athlete you convince to shoot with you using the lighting or posing techniques I recommended.
At the end of the course you should be able to produce expressive photos with little effort and also start building a new revenue stream with your new photo genre.

Hello my friends, Welcome to my course, my name is Paul. Born and raised in the Caribbean in the the Cayman Islands I am currently greeting you from the hot climate of Dubai. UAE. I have been an entrepreneur and avid photographer for over 3 decades however I started photography full time a little over 10 years ago. My love of fitness started at age 12 and when I started my first health club business at 18 and becoming a bodybuilding judge at 26 My fascination with the human form led me to the camera and the rest was history. I am now considered one of the top fitness photographers in the Middle East and Asia and have shot more than 250 different athletes, including, Bollywood stars, cricket players, football players, Yogis, Crossfit athletes, bodybuilders and just people who wanted to document themselves. My commercial clients are multinationals, supplement companies, clothing brands, gyms and health clubs, to the small personal fitness professionals. With the very little spare time I do get, I enjoy teaching small private workshops and working out and traveling.

I was hoping for more guidance on how the different settings on the camera affect the shots, but overall it was good information

Could be more informative on the process to get the shot. Things to look out for and avoid while other things to incorporate into the scene.

It was what I expected. I just wish the videos are a tad bit longer to show more behind the scenes things but pretty much happy with the course. Hope to see more lessons tho!

The workflow is rushed and keeps using phrases like "you get the idea", or "I'll just quickly do this" - actually I want to know how to get professional results, not quick and dirty retouching Would have like to have seen more indepth of the re-touching work, and rather than voice over a video that had previously been shot, shoot as if it was live and make a real show of it.

The pictures and detailed explanations are to the point. Just wished to be able to download the udemy courses to my desktop computer easy as well, cause most of the time it is not possible to download to the mobiles and tablets because of space considerations, if you have bought especialy lotof courses.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, just wished that all the videos were downloadable so that I can view them offline later. Thanks also for the feedback on my images, it is invaluable.
