more clarification needed while explaining code and using it

This course is in dire need of an update. There are sections that are no longer possible to perform as the content of the site has changed over time. Too bad, it seems like a good course otherwise. UPDATE: I believe when I posted my original 2 star review I was being a bit too critical. While it's true that the course is in need of an update as the example site has glaring discrepancies with course lecture content, the presenter has a very good point that working through these discrepancies can help in the learning process, and indeed it has done just that. While the presenter isn't the most skilled Java developer, this is not a Java course and I can take liberties to make adjustments as I see fit... it's not a course you just can copy code and expect it to work without some student intervention. The teacher's knowledge of the actual course topic, Selenium, is very good and I am filling in fundamental blanks in my knowledge of using this tool efficiently... he has great concepts.

Course content and the way it is explained is excellent. Learning various concepts by practicing / coding along with the tutor would certainly help if you are involved in framework development or if you are using an existing framework. I think this would have been complete if the CI/CD integration was done using dsl to code Jenkins instead of configuring it using UI. That is just a minor suggestion. Thank you for explaining everything so well.

Overall, I did learn a few things and the instructor is quite active in the question and answers section. I have used, but not created, a few API and UI automation frameworks from actual companies. So I can say that for those who don't know what a web UI automation framework looks like, this course is a good starting point. But, you'd have to go far beyond the course to be able to make something useful for an employer. Unfortunately, the code for this course is in a private repository which is a big sore point. I am quite sure that nothing will be lost by sharing this code publicly. Beginners will still have to buy the course to understand the code. More experienced users will not need to take the course or copy the code. So why keep the code in a private repository ? To anyone taking the course, I'd suggest that you get the code reviewed by a reputable test automation engineer. Ideally, someone who is well known and respected in the industry. Example - https://testguild.com/follow-testers-2020/ or similar. That way, you can get a better picture and figure out the next steps.

Till now i subscribed total of 4 courses, and this is also a great course implemented very well. Course is very descriptive and every aspects trainer tried to covered. Only thing i feel as extent report is much needed in the program. Apart from this this course is great who wants to learn framework architecture. As of now i completed 65% of the course but learnt a lot especially the implementation of Custom Driver Class topic . Trainer explained brilliantly the concept.

This course is excellent and provides a ready made industry level framework that can be used/re-used I have benefited a lot using this framework in my profession Please do add videos on how to achieve parallel execution of multiple modules, you have already made webdriver, report instance thread safe, but what about screen shots/how to attach them, logs, data provider(test data) etc...

Really liked the components build in the course to complete the framework. This really provides a great base for building and customizing a framework for our own application. Update: Took this course about a month back and completed. Just noticed new topic addition and completed. Liked new Extent Reports and GitHub lectures. Great explanation !!!

Wow, this is a great course. I learned tremendous amount of information about framework concepts in depth and good practices I need to follow while creating a framework. The best part is the framework implementation. The framework is generic and I can easily build my own framework on top of it. Just completed the new lectures about GitHub and Jenkins. I am amazed to the see updates made to the course.
