Selenium WebDriver: JavaScript Automation For Beginners 2019 (Udemy.com)

I had written this review post my full course completion. As a experience SDET, I have enrolled this course to understand the syntax and functionaliy implementations like how packages are imported, how menthods are used in the Javascript. Even though I found the enough information for myself but I would like write the pros and cons as a beginner's point of view. Pros: 1. Crystal clear set up of Selenium with Javascript 2. Explained all the selenium topics 3. Good in explanation, video quality and resources attachment Cons: 1. No cross knowledge on Javascript for beginners 2. No framework implementation 3. No IOS platform setup and usage 4. No chrome browser implementations Overall the course content can be improved to greater extend. I would recommend you to opt-in this course only if you haven't found the any other resources in the combo (Selenium + Javascript) since I have opted this course with same criteria. Amazing instructor, learned the best tools here seems like. Selenium Recorder IDE will definitely be useful. I tried exporting my recordings in both Python and JS formats and ran into a couple of issues so any updates on this topic within the course would be appreciated :) Thanks!

This is a good course. The main drawback, however is it's age. This is a 2019 course and it is 2021 now so it isn't as easy to follow along. Also, some of the codes and examples are dated and don't work properly. It is a free course and it is good for getting your feet wet in Selenium Webdriver. I would advise paying for a course that is more up to date after you take this course.

Great so far! Got selenium running in the easy example, but have not totally understood all the syntax and logic, but hopefully we'll cover that as we go!

Perfect! just started, easy to follow step by step instructions, the exercises are executing like clock-work. Halfway through, so far learning a lot of valuable knowledge to hopefully help me with my project. Be interesting to see how I go with these practices where I currently have work-placement.

This course gave me a good overview and laid fundamentals to start writing automation tests in Selenium/Appium at work. It helps to understand the main functionalities, methods, accessing elements etc. The author speaks clearly and goes step-by-step through the well organized content. Highly recommends! Thank you :)

This course is very helpful for me. Simple, clear examples, useful resources. It will be good if there is some Overview introduction in the beginning like needed knowledge before starting, for who is the course, etc. And one more note. I'll be very grateful if there is a list of all useful extensions for VS Code and browsers that teacher uses.

This course is exactly what I was needing to improve my selenium automation skills with other languages. I also now know how to install a framework from the beginning. The only issue I had in the course was with #1. Extracting data from Tables. I wasn't able to get the table data to show in the Terminal on Visual Studio. Thank you very much for the course.

Very good material coverage. Should have covered modal dialogs, alerts, and other exotic topics. Also, it would be better to teach how browser automation can be combined with testing frameworks. Overall, I am satisfied. This is certainly a good starting point for anyone who wishes to learn Selenium Webdriver. Thanks Rangel.
