Solidity Smart Contracts: Build DApps In Ethereum Blockchain (Udemy.com)

Although I am not a programmer, this was a good course for my skill set because of previous exposure to other programming languages. However, it might take additional personal research for new users with no programming experience. Although this was good instruction, it is outdated. Truffle/Ganache are being sunset. The Ethernet Package Registry (ethpm.com/registry) & Truffle Framework.com no longer exist. However, that being said, the presentation of basic concepts was clear and sound. Many of the concepts and functions learned in Truffle, will facilitate learning programming in "Hardhat," Truffles new replacement Application (for those who choose to switch). In addition, the teaching of using VScode will also facilitate the transitioning from Truffle to"Hardhat" for those users/developers that choose to do so. Overall, although I initially felt this course could have been more detailed, what I actually found was that I ran through the course too quickly. After subsequent review of the material I found the instructor to be extremely explicit, especially in the more difficult concepts and more advanced Projects. In addition, I realized that when the instructor initially created these lessons, both Truffle and Ganache had not been "Sunset," and where the primary development applications being used by developers. Even though Truffle and Ganache are being sunset, I would highly recommend this course for all of the other transferable skills you will learn regarding development of Distributed Applications (DAPPS).

Amazing Course for beginners and intermediates in Ethereum Blockchain, and Public Blockchain-based solutions. A quick refresh on Solidity & Advanced Solidity was very useful to start with. Thanks for covering Truffle, Ganache, and IPFS - it gave essential knowledge to start with. Sections on Dapp Development and Dapp Deployment with Heroku helped a lot. Overall, a great course. I want to thank you for this wonderful course. It helped me understand the complete dApp development process from start to end. The different projects through this course gave me hands-on experience at understanding and implementing all the concepts of the dApp development cycle. I loved the theory explanations and the practice assignments. I would like to see the solutions for the practice assignments too. Lastly, I would love to see more courses from you and the latest changes in the industry.

Speakers voice makes me drowsy. Pronunciation of certain words are sometimes really hard to interpret and the pace of information is uneven. Would recommend hiring a professional speaker to dub the course which would improve the energy of the course and also some visual illustrations of how the different wallets and networks are interconnected. (Hope I don't offend. Trying just to provide some constructive feedback. )

So far it has been as expected. A lot of the reviews say that the class has been updated. Udemy asks you to write a review very early in the class (within the first section). But even with that, there has already been an update within the first section so I am feeling confident that there will be more updates to come... thanks for keeping the content updated.

I am completely new to Ethereum and Solidity, have a test coming up. I find this course extremely well structured and Rangel's way of teaching is nice too. The Solidity version in the labs might be bit old, however, Rangel has gone all way to address the Q&As raised by the students and provided code snippets to align to the newer version too.

I thought this course was excellent. Given that Solidity isn't a very mature language (it's only been around for a few years), learning the language itself isn't especially complicated. Rangel did a nice job of introducing the language and also sharing tools (like Remix) that are important for building your dev skills with Solidity in an easy-to-use environment. The projects we completed in the later parts of the course were an excellent way to become more immersed in the "full stack" required to create and deploy DApps (e.g. integrating JavaScript, Node.js, and important third-party tools like Infura). Rangel was also supportive during my learning experience. He answered multiple questions within a reasonable timeframe. I'd definitely recommend participating in this course.

Great course for beginners to learn build Dapps. The experience of the instructor is visible from the way he explains stuff.Also the support provided by instructor in Q/A section is also a plus point. Instructor also updates course from time to time so that's another plus point.Overall I got to learn a lot from this course.

Thanks so much for the great information.. it would be more informative it any new application was designed from scratch rather than using truffle box directly. this course is not upto date. a lot of time is wasted in resolving the issues You guys r doing awesome work . Keep educating people :)
