Course Description
NgRx Signal Store - The Missing Guide
Uncover why NgRx Signal Store is seen as the essential missing piece for fully harnessing Angular signals, offering a lightweight yet powerful state management solution. This Udemy "NgRx Signal Store" course, created by Angular expert Kobi Hari, provides a hands-on, structured path to mastering NgRx Signal Store and building scalable state management solutions with Angular Signals.
This course provides a comprehensive dive into NgRx Signal Store, a more streamlined and straightforward alternative to other NgRx stores. It's designed to be both easy to use and highly flexible, making it an excellent choice for state management in Angular applications. With support for custom features, it's not only simple but also scalable and extendable.
What you'll learn:
Why NgRx Signal Store stands out: Learn why signals, combined with the redux pattern, provide a lighter and better state management solution compared to traditional stores in NgRx. Discover how it simplifies development while remaining powerful and scalable.
NgRx Signal Store includes core features such as withState, withComputed, withMethods, withHooks, and withProps. This course explains how each works, when to use them, and best practices for dependency injection and state updates.
Advanced topics: In version 18, NgRx Signals introduces significant improvements like state encapsulation, private store members, which allows you to better control and isolate the state within your stores.
New features: In version 19, withProps and signalMethod were introduced, learn how to use them and when.
Custom features: Missing the redux devtools extension? NgRx signal store allows the development of reusable custom features, such as an adapter for the devtools. Learn how to use libraries of custom features as well as writing your own.
Why this course?
Build a real-life application as part of your learning journey... in fact, build two. One simple, one more challanging.
Strengthen your skills with small, focused exercises.
Gain insights into the best practices for working with signals, avoiding common mistakes, and maximizing the store’s potential.
By the end, you’ll be ready to use NgRx Signal Store to manage state efficiently and confidently in your Angular apps. NgRx Signal Store – The Missing Guide is your complete learning path to mastering Angular’s modern, signal-based state management

Hi, I'm Kobi.
I Love software, I love programming. I love learning new technologies and I love teaching it. Becuase I love it so much, have been programming ever since I was a kid and always liked to combine programming, and training. Today, I am a freelance developer and instructor that focuses on Angular and .Net. I also teach programming courses live and online.
When you are a freelancer, you become a hub for knowledge. You teach and you also learn a lot from each project you participate in. You meet lots of very different developers and absorb many different programming styles. You understand which topics are harder to learn and therefore harder to teach and find ways to present complex topics in simple, concise and clear way.
I am looking forward to be your instructor :-)

Kobi's courses are all excellent. The courses focus on the topic and understanding how things work. I highly recommend all 3 of his courses - Signals, Material Design, and NgRx State. The only issue i had was the starting place for some of the exercises. I fork the repo and try to copy the starting project to a folder so I can work along with the video. It isn't easy to do when the link is a github commit.

I just copied the comment from Rodrigo, cause my english is no so good an he mentions everything I want to say: This course on NgRx Signal Store was outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed working through all the examples, which were thoughtfully structured—from foundational concepts to more advanced implementations. The progression made it easy to build confidence and deepen my understanding. Out of all the courses I've taken on the topic, this one stands out as the best so far.

I enjoyed learning the content of this course. The course gets deeper with each section, building on the previous content. As the complexity increases, I find myself repeating the sections and lectures. This makes everything else with Angular Signals seem like child's play. The course reinforces concepts like Injection Context while adding to my knowledge base with new programming paradigms i.e. creating custom Signal Store Features, Closure Syntax (IIFE) in Signal Stores. I feel like a "newbie" - there is so much more to learn. Thank you Kobi for taking the time and effort to better my programming skills with your courses, Pat

The course was super informative — it started with Functional Programming examples and ended with a deep dive into Signals Store. Amazing work, Kobi — thank you for that! Just a small suggestion: consider skipping or shortening the parts where we create very simple functions. In my opinion, this doesn’t feel like an entry-level course. To really benefit from it, you should already be quite confident with TypeScript and Angular. Great job overall!

The only thing I didn't like was that in 101 at 3:27, there were clearly an error under the signalStore, but then it was just edited out. That was really frustrating since I would have appreciated seeing how you solved that, just even your thought process, since I happen to get in the same kind of scenarios with the signalStore when doing custom features..

Loved the course! Your explanations are super clear, and everything made sense. The 'code myself' parts were a bit tricky since the apps had a lot of features, so I had to spend time understanding your code first. It definitely helped me learn, but later on, I just focused on NgRx to save time, sometimes simple app help learn more! especially in an 'easy' topic like ngrx (compared to full framework courses etc..) Overall, a great learning experience!

This is such an important course! It is an incredible library but it's just so hard to get proper documentation about it. You can tell that the instructor gained a LOT of experience with it and he shares it in this course. I watched it all in a single day and tried most of the exercises, and I can confidently say that it's the first thing I will try to implement in our project next week.

Hi Hari, thank you for this course again! This the one, which will be in combination with Hari's SIGNAL course the complete update to Angular 19! And by the way, cover the needed knowledge to do the new concept of function programming. And again, all explained in a deep way by starting at the beginning point and without a gap of information you must know. So I can follow without "black-boxes" the give clearly explanations. Here you learn new concepts - and also the NgRx code philosophy behind will be explained and not only be used. With this both courses from Hari, it should be possible to shift complete to the new angular approach. So I can highly recommended this course for sure.
