Course Description

Master Angular Signals: Modern Change Detection and Zoneless Applications

Modern Angular with Signals - The Missing Guide is a top-rated Udemy course by Kobi. It covers Angular 18-22’s latest APIs, with a focus on practical use of signals and zoneless architecture. This Udemy course is ideal for Angular developers with basic to advanced experience, or anyone transitioning from RxJS to the new signal-based APIs.

Unlock the full potential of Angular's newest feature - Signals. Learn the modern way to program in Angular using  Signals, Standalone Architecture, the new functional APis, and all the latest features, including the ones introduced in Version 22.

Whether you're a beginner looking to understand signals or a seasoned Angular developer seeking to deepen your expertise, this Angular course teaches both theoretical insights and practical knowledge. By gaining a deep understanding of how signals work, you’ll gain the confidence to build efficient, scalable, and future-proof applications while avoiding common pitfalls.

  • First - understand why angular is moving to zoneless applications using signals. Dive into the fundamentals of the event loop, tasks, and how zone-based change detection works. You'll discover why Angular is shifting towards zoneless architectures and the challenges posed by using RxJS and push-based change detection in large-scale applications.

  • Then - meet signals. Learn about the basic primitives of signals, including their relationship to injection and reactive contexts. You’ll learn how to work with writable and computed signals, and how to implement effects and handle RxJS interoperability. You'll also discover Angular 19s "linkedSignal". These foundational concepts will help you start using signals effectively in your applications.

  • Once the basics are covered, we dive deep into how signals are implemented under the hood to give you a more advanced, intuitive understanding of their behavior. This deep understanding of how signals and injection contexts work will help you avoid the pitfalls of this seemingly simple feature, enabling you to use signals effectively and confidently.

  • Angular 18’s new signal-based component API is a game-changer for modern Angular development. In this course, you’ll learn how to integrate signals directly into your components, significantly improving performance and reducing complexity. We’ll explore how the deep understanding of signals and injection contexts is essential to mastering these APIs and avoiding common mistakes. With this knowledge, you’ll be able to build more efficient, responsive, and scalable components that take full advantage of Angular’s latest features.

  • Moving beyond components, we dive into building signal-based asynchronous services both with RxJs and with the Resource APIs. Learn through hands-on practical example, allowing you to apply everything you've learned throughout the course.

  • Learn the resource APIs that became stable in version 22: resource, httpResource and rxResource. You will see how to incorporate them into your reactive services. Learn how to build servies that hold data that relies on asynchronous http apis, and how to stream data into these resources using web sockets.

  • In Angular 22, The long awaited Signal Forms became stable. This course contains a full mini-course on signal forms. Now you can create truly dynamic forms that react to changes. You can change the structure or the validation rules dynamically dependeing on field values. You'll see how Signal Forms were built for reuse and allow you to build your form-heavy application in a Modular and standard way. Most importantly, it`s all based on signals and it`s all Zoneless-ready!

Kobi Hari

Hi, I'm Kobi.

I Love software, I love programming. I love learning new technologies and I love teaching it. Becuase I love it so much, have been programming ever since I was a kid and always liked to combine programming, and training. Today, I am a freelance developer and instructor that focuses on Angular and .Net. I also teach programming courses live and online.

When you are a freelancer, you become a hub for knowledge. You teach and you also learn a lot from each project you participate in. You meet lots of very different developers and absorb many different programming styles. You understand which topics are harder to learn and therefore harder to teach and find ways to present complex topics in simple, concise and clear way.

I am looking forward to be your instructor :-)

It is very tough to understand the session during playtime. please show the angular version as a watermark behind the video running

Great course. I really understand the missing knowledge of Signals with deeper insights and I like the way Hari go about the topic, he just don't simply explain new features, he also explains what are the pain points of the older architecture and gave proper examples how Signals and its APIs are resolving them

By G Sangram Patro on 5/19/2026

Kudos, Kobi is exception in Angular signal concepts. He dives deep in to the concepts that usually ignored and explain with appropriate examples and demonstrations. He also added github and Stackblitz links along the course to practice on our own. That's of great help. I enjoyed thoroughly and would highly recommend all to go ahead with this course. Its worth your time and money.

I was seaching course on Signal, and I find yours. At first i was skeptical. But after the second Section, i was like : It s definitely what I need. Now i subscribe on your course about NgRx course that I'll start soon! (even if with IA i do that for nothing...) Definitely one of best cours I had here! Thank you!

He explains the complex topic (change detection) in a simple way, it is very easy to understand. Interesting and helpful sections about the signal forms in Angular 21 which I can apply to the projects right away. Practical example on how to build service for managing the states.

By Felipe Ristow on 1/18/2026

The course is excellent, and I consider the teaching approach to be perfect. Even though the examples may seem simple, they give us tremendous insight into what is possible to do with signals, because the instructor goes into detail about how the implementation works under the hood. I consider it the best course I have ever taken on Udemy.

By Andrew Howard on 1/4/2026

Very clear and concise. Gave all the main features of Signals broken down into nice easy to digest chapters. I do feel however the teacher focuses too much on Promises when it comes to http work and I feel most people will stay in rxjs Observables so I felt the focus was off on this aspect.

This is another great course by Kobi Hari. He is a great instructor and is extremely knowledgeable on the topics he is teaching. I learned a substantial amount from this signals course. I especially liked the deep dive into the latest signal forms.

By Zeljko Cenger on 12/10/2025

Great course with strong focus on Angular Signals This is a very good course, especially because it focuses on details — the advantages of Signals and the new Angular APIs. The concepts are explained clearly and in a practical way, making it easy to understand how and when to use them. The instructor is very responsive and actively keeps the course up to date with new features. The resources are also excellent: GitHub code and StackBlitz examples make it easy to save exercises and keep implementations clearly separated for different parts of the course. Highly recommended.

By Mor Sagmon on 12/8/2025
