SharePoint 2013: Site Manager (Udemy.com)

I needed a more basic course first, and the complexity is difficult to cover because how organizations use SharePoint varies widely and the setup is complex if you have not been administrating sites. Overall, the approach is very personable and easy to follow. It would be nice to have a blank sandbox to develop in, but that's not on the course.

It was great, a different version than I have but it worked out. As the instructor was going through examples, I would stop the video and try it on my site. Very useful. I should be up and running with a simple solution for my team within 2 weeks. I will look for more courses as this was only the beginning!

The course is very complete, but the curriculum order was not a good match for me. I rather start from customizing a site to content information. Also keep all content information including content type lectures in sequence.

This was an exceptional course as not just introductory, but delved into more of the capabilities than I was aware of. It encourages and excites me to take more courses and put the education into a practical application that will really help me take-off.

The content was very useful, well organized, and clearly narrated. While all of the information will not be used immediately, the introduction to the tools was very engaging. I am excited to put to use the portions of the training that are suitable for the project that is to developed and implemented. Thank you.

I like the narration style. It sounds as if the narrator is actually talking directly to me (like I'm listening to a key note speaker at a live conference) and not at me. However, there is a lot of information within the narration that is not represented by a "slide." I learn best through visuals. I can read the narrative and follow the steps he is displaying, but it's not as impactful as on-screen bullet points and I would like to see more of those. Also, the transcript is horrendous as far as spelling is concerned and needs to be cleaned up. It appears you used an application to auto-generate the transcript and no one ever QC'd it.

Great Course. Instructor is well versed in SharePoint. I have learned a lot about SharePoint. What I have learned from this course is helping me in my responsibilities at work. I was recently tasked with building out a new SharePoint site at work, I had no experience but this course has helped me so much. Lectures are well presented, easy to understand and very useful. This is by far the best class I have taken on Udemy. Will definitely take other courses from this instructor.

This training covered a lot of my questions and MORE about being a SharePoint site manager. I wish I would have bought this training first before my other SharePoint courses. It was very thorough, clear and went into depth to help me get the most out of SharePoint. It had more value than the 5 classes I took previously. Thanks a lot!

I'm 40% through this course and so far it offers a lot of more advanced topics at a very easily understandable level. I'll definitely finish the course and would recommend it to others that want to get an understanding of using SharePoint beyond adding and editing files.

This has been great for getting an understanding of how SharePoint works. I still wish I knew how to make a site look and feel the way I want. For instance, I built a table. I would like to add colour and links in the table. I would also like to know how to organize the information on a page. I can do things with SharePoint, but I don't feel I know how to actually use it.
