This is a beginner-to-intermediate tour of SharePoint 2013: lists, document libraries, workflows, web parts, permissions, subsites, and some SharePoint Designer work. It runs about 5 hours across 67 lectures, with a handful of quizzes and a couple of articles mixed in. Kyle Pew, who has taught SharePoint since the 2003 version, keeps each lecture short, which makes the course easy to work through in small sessions between meetings.

Reviewers consistently like Pew's teaching style. One calls him not intimidating, which matters for people who find tech training stressful, and another describes him as lively and jovial with an easy pace to follow. A couple of reviewers also point to the pacing: lessons built in small chunks that are easy to revisit. The complaints cluster around depth, not delivery. More than one reviewer wanted a real project to build across the course rather than isolated feature demos, and one reviewer wished the workflows and custom design sections went further. Another reviewer felt some talking segments dragged without adding new information.

The course was last updated in 2019, so it covers the 2013 interface specifically. The course is good. It's given me better insight into SharePoint.
I like Kyle's examples on explaining why something might come in handy. But at the same time I'm wishing he would go a little faster. I have a specific task that I'm trying to learn and while I appreciate the background information, I'm finding it hard not to jump ahead to see if this course will answer my questions, or if I have to try another course.
I've only completed 30% done with the course so maybe I'll increase my rating once I'm done.
