This is a manual testing course built around the stages of a real project: planning, analysis, design, implementation, execution and reporting. It runs about 15.6 hours across 186 lectures, then adds Agile testing with JIRA and Zephyr, a block on SQL for testers, and a short automation intro. The channel behind it, Manual To Automation Testing, says plainly that this is not an automation course. It is aimed at people trying to land a first testing job.

Reviewers mostly call it clear and well organized, and several single out beginners. One said the theory is so detailed they sometimes drowned in it, but the practical tasks and the author's feedback on each assignment helped it stick. Another liked comparing their own notes against the assignment answers before moving on to the lessons. The complaints are small but real. One person found the delivery wordy, one struggled with the heavy accent, and one wanted subtitles on every video. Only 17 of 700 ratings are one or two stars.

Value looks solid for a first-timer. Of the 700 ratings, 465 are five stars, and the course was last refreshed in January 2025. Experienced testers may not need it, and one reviewer suggested skipping it with a lot more experience. The planning section is marked advanced and meant to be revisited at the end, which is a sensible touch. Anyone already writing test cases daily could jump to the Agile and SQL sections. Everyone starting from zero gets a clear, structured path.

The course is good for beginners. The theory is given in great detail. I sometimes drowned in them )) There are a sufficient number of practical tasks and this helps to understand the theory. It’s great that there is feedback in the form of explanations from the author for each task. For me personally, many previously unclear aspects of testing have finally become clear!
