Course Description
JSON Web Token (JWT) is an open standard (RFC 7519) that defines a compact and self-contained way for securely transmitting information between parties as a JSON object - (from JWT website). In this course, you will understand and learn how to generate and sign a Json Web Token with a refresh token that users can use to securely access your RESTful application.
This course teaches how to use JWT (JSON Web Token) to embed users' roles and permissions to delegate user's authorization(what they can and can't do) in the application. This course also dives into defining and creating API, exposing API Endpoints over HTTP, and handling HTTP Requests and File Upload through API Endpoints. It covers testing API Endpoints (using an HTTP client - Postman).
This course is short and focuses only on the generation of a JSON web token with a refresh token, and shows how you can use the refresh token to generate a new access token for a user. If you would like to learn more and build a full stack application and see how of this in practice, and way much more, please refer to my other course on Udemy, JSON Web Token (JWT) with Spring Security And Angular

I learn about JWT and Authorization and Authentication, maybe the last video was to quickly, I need to review again a couple of times. I would like to watch a debug video with the process running to understand how the password is compared and how the code works

Explanation was good, but it is with older version, there should be a tutorial on latest versions as many classes are deprecated since then.

This course is very good, but it should be updated from 2021 and also with more good practices, clean code and more explanation of the Security package flow.

At starting it may take some time to understand the videos but as you go into deep dive this will be interesting and you will get to know much more about JWT token and authentication in spring boot application. Thanks for the videos.

Good course. Direct into the implementation. A little theory session about how spring security works would have been great.

Good Course for Spring Security , Authentication and Authorization. I shall recommend to others who are in beginner level.

I learned a lot from this. I couldn't find the source code, and this hasn't been updated for Spring Boot 3.0, but he does cover that on YouTube.
