Is a good course but the material is outdated and Metabase is no longer free. Did have to spin up postgress and Metabase locally using docker to complete the course. Other than that, the explanations are rather good and easy to understand

I'm working mainly in Metabase for data visualizations, and this was the most complete video I've found on the internet as far as training in and with Metabase is concerned. It is a bit dated but overall a good source to watch. Much appreciated!

Installation instructions for pgAdmin 4 could be smoother (note the failed installation of version 10 in the wizard). Need to provide a free option for running the software -- Heroku now requires a paid subscription.

This information is outdated. You will spend considerable time figuring out the set up. There are now paid components that users should be aware of. Once you get through that, you should be able to get on your way. Please note, it appears that when you set up the payment method during the initial deploys, I think it has to be the first of the month, otherwise it's not recognized.

Nevertheless 14 days free trial, in order to get Metabase account you need to enter your payment card's data. It would be much better to use any other visualization platform which doesn't have such kind of constraints

A forma com que o curso é apresentado é fantástica. Tudo é visto com muita calma e, por vezes, se você tentar fazer o que o instrutor disse que vai fazer, você sente o aprendizado. Contudo, tive alguma dificuldade na parte de configuração. Algumas telas que ele mostrou não apareciam para mim. Tive que pesquisar como fazer.

This is an amazing course! I like(ed) to think that I am pretty good with SQL, but I did learn a lot in the course. Metabase is an awesome tool and Raffi is incredible with his knowledge of Metabase, SQL and Data Visualization. The first part of the course covers setting up Metabase and pgAdmin and Raffi focuses on Mac for this but it is pretty easy to get through with Linux. Even if you already know SQL, I suggest watching the lessons anyway... picked up a couple of things there! The only thing was tough for me is that (for me) there was a little problem understanding what Raffi is saying and he moves fast! I had to pause and/or go back in the videos pretty often, but as things went on I started to pick up what he was saying and it smoothed out nicely. I highly recommend the course and I will look for other courses from Raffi.
