SQL Tutorial for Beginners - Learn SQL using 30 scenarios (Udemy.com)

Explaning using case scenario is very good. The concepts, syntax and basics of SQL querying can be included separately first to make this course more comprehensive. Types of different SQL types like MySQL, T SQL, PostGre SQL etc and difference between them should also be included with guidance on where which type of SQL is used and the best one out of all.

Learning by doing course, I was completely ignorant about SQL and now I can start using it in my job. Of course, I am not a professional yet, but this is enough knowledge to start with and gain even more competences. As a comment, I would maybe give the scenario's name in the video's title for readability.

Great course for beginners! Takes you step by step into downloading and setting up a great sample DB. The DB has a lot of data available for practice. The 30 scenarios provided are great to start off with, teaches you a lot about SQL, for a beginner at least. Highly recommend this course, I am after all comfortable to say I understand SQL on an entry level.

Explanation on the the difference between the types of JOINs would have made it clearer. I used INNER JOIN for all the JOIN requirements and got the same results. An explanation would have been ideal as i'm left wondering what the difference is in the JOINs.

I have learnt now how SQL lang works. I used to consider this lang as tough one.But when i go through these lectures it been quite handy for me.But they should also provide hands on practice.

Really enjoyed this introduction, the examples are well explained and up to date for those revising or learning SQL using Azure Data Studio, MS SQL Server and T-SQL. Would recommend to colleagues! Thank you.

It's a pretty informative course, but many of the tasks are repetitive (different usage of the same function). For people familiar with databases and programming it will be ridiculously easy, but for those without it shouldn't be too challenging. It would have been nice to have a few notes about the lack of Cap and Space sensitivity, and more usage of the IDE/Terminal (what the colors mean, the autofill, etc). most things were explained fully but some things were not - like how the different "JOIN"'s although most of them were easy to figure out I still don't get how "FULL JOIN" is different than the others. The Teacher does have an accent and can speak quietly or mumble, it wasn't much of a problem for me but others may find it harder to follow his instruction.

Course is good and easy to understand, Any one who does not know how to connect with a database and do some practice, can refer this course. It explained in easy way. And best thing is communication is clear. Only one thing which I feel lacking is that, intend of use of command is missing. For example , why you are using different Joins. And for that reason I am cutting half star.

Straight to the point, 30 scenarios. Each scenario teaches you about one SQL concept. My only wish was if there were some pdf exercises to practice. In 30 scenarios we completed 30 queries, all worth it. Topics covered were from Case to all types of joins, group By and having clause. Loved the course. Thank you. Advance SQL course? Something like finding the number of sessions of an app, or session length. Great Course.
