some parts of the course was to rushed and could have been explained more in depth to help the students grasp an understanding better. Especially the block part. Felt like the teacher was trying to rush through explanations as fast as possible instead of teaching as good as possible. That being said, for the time it took me to watch this course I feel that my time invested what good but that if the course would have been a bit more explained and not rushed the overall understanding of subnetting could have landed much better in just one go.

I actually been to college for Cybersecurity and currently am back in for my master's in information tech with a focus on artificial intelligence systems management and NOBODY was able to get me to understand this topic. But thankfully I get it now!!! After so many teachers and YouTube videos I had given up but I'm glad I gave this course a chance!!! This is the absolute best course you'll find on this! I can't believe it's so easy, now.

Excellent thorough presentation and explanation of subnetting! Second to none and vivid visuals that help learning content with precision and retention of content! Finally an instructor that knows how to teach across many learning styles and learning disabilities. I will be recommending this course to many. Again, thank you and Great Job!

This training was good overall. I would like the videos with written examples to have the entire page visible and not adjusted for display. Maybe a dry erase board would help? I will have to continue practicing to remember some of the small details that are important in the process. I found that I had to refer to multiple sheets in the workbook to ensure I followed all of the steps correctly. I do like having the workbook for reference. Thanks.

Great refresher, last did the course 2 years ago. My instructor explained a totally different method, but since it was lost on me now, I followed the binary exercises .. all comes together in the last chapter. You need the proper foundation. Highly recommend, worth the couple of hours. Thanks alot.

Considering it is only an hour of video there is A LOT of info in here. Had to pause it a lot and let my brain catch up. You will definitely know subnetting at the end of this video. He gives you 7 examples and 2 quizzes after he has taught you his "shortcut". It took me a little while but now I feel confident that I can take any IP address and subnet mask and give you the network address, broadcast address and broadcast range in a few minutes. I still have to write it down though. Maybe if you do it enough times you can do it in your head. I would like to see a few more examples at the end. I need the practice. But good course overall.

This helped to really clarify Subnets and CIDR making very easy. This is a wonderful supplement class also if studying for the Network + or CCNA exams. I really enjoyed the trick to subnetting after we got the traditional way down first. I would only encourage thought that the pace be slowed slightly for future courses and maybe give some examples of where this might be applicable in real-world scenarios.

This Course is Truly fabulous. I do not know how else it can be more easy than this course and so quick to understand IP and Subnetting. Need just More real world examples to solve and i think i can do subnetting now. feeling so confident and acknowledged about IP . best time spent on IP Addressing.

Dr. Meservy does a great job helping the student understand binary as well as ways to think about binary as it relates to the more commonly used decimal numbering system. After practicing using the concepts introduced within this course, I am better able to make sense of subnetting without having to think as hard about what the numbers mean.

The instructor does a great job at helping you learn the traditional way of subnetting before he reveals his trick to make it extremely easy and quick. And by the way, it is quite an awesome trick that makes the process virtually pain free! He seems very passionate about data communications, and he is clear in his delivery and explanation. He encourages you to work along side him so you can better retain the methods. He is professional--yet engaged with his audience. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the course.
