Course Description

A course that will teach you the secrets to achieving amazing sounds in Sylenth1 with clever and advanced techniques to take your sounds to the next level.

Sylenth1 is one of the most popular and basic synths out in the market with thousands of users, but just because Sylenth1 isn't as complex as other software synthesizer it doesn't mean that great sounds can't be achieved in it.

Like any other person I learned how to utilize Sylenth1 by learning online through various courses that taught me what each knob did and how to make simple sounds.

I never got taught how to make crazy sounds through those courses though, in fact i got taught how to make standard supersaws, basslines, and sounds that didn't sound professional at all.

For years I tried to make my own sounds but I always resorted back to using presets because my sound design wasn't there. Yes I knew how utilize the synth but I didn't know the secrets to using it to make crazy sounds.

Fast forward 6 years and Now I'm a master at Sylenth1, in fact I have made over 200+ Videos using Sylenth1 to recreate famous sounds.

Learning how to recreate famous sounds really showed me how complex Sylenth1 is through it's modulation, and effects. Each new sound I recreated I learned new techniques that I have compiled into Sylenth1 Secrets for you guys.

Now what do you get out of this program?

First you get 30+ High Quality videos showing you every technique up front and in person so you can get the most out of this course.

You are going to get every sound we make in this course as a resource to learn from so you have access to a free 30+ soundbank for free.

And finally you get access to asking me questions about various sounds you have been trying to create.

Zen World

Over 30,000 people follow my EDM Tutorials on YouTube where I teach the beginner to the advanced producer how to recreate famous sounds, and find their own sound. I've sold over 5,000 sound-banks for Sylenth1, Massive, Spire and Serum over the past year.

My name is Zen World and I started making sounds for Dance Music about 6 years ago. Like any other person I wanted to become a world famous producer until I decided to learn how to make my own sounds, that's where everything changed. I found my passion for sound design and eventually decided to start a youtube channel which opened the doors for me to work with amazing artist. Over the 3 years I've had the chance to work with artist on developing sounds for their music and even mentoring some of them in the art of sound design.

By mentoring people I found my second passion in life which is teaching. Mentoring and making over 300 videos for youtube have helped me craft my ability to teach materials in an exciting and easy to understand way.

Many upcoming producers in the world of dance music also follow my tutorials like: Curbi, Danny Avila, Max Vangeli, Marcelo CIC, and many more.

So if you guys are ready to learn, I'm ready to teach you what you need to know to find your own sound.

I like things that are fast paced and this one fit the bill. I would say that I am a little passed beginner, but not advanced, so for me, this course was perfect. Plus the fact you get the the presets afterwards makes the value even higher.

This guy is fun to listen to and his tutorial gets STRAIGHT TO THE POINT. No time wasted with him messing around trying to find sounds he likes, he just demonstrates the technique, shows you a cool sound, and moves on. Lots of energy too!

By Luke Bennett on 1/16/2019

I really like how quick each tutorial is, there is not much to take in to produce each sound, so easy to remember, but also if I ever want to come back to a more advanced sound, or I have forgotten how to get a certain sound. I can just watch a quick video from the series covering that sound and BOOM I'm away, back to producing

Thank you, I mean thank you really much. You are such a super cool and interesting person to hear explain. Nothing to complain. I have done 6 months music, so I am kind of starter. But anyways, thanks!

Great course on Sylenth1. It's been a while where I've sat down with a synth and broken it apart completely like we did in this course. The concepts you learn from this course can apply to other synths as well. The amount of free content that Zen World puts out on YouTube is incredible, so I decided to purchase this course. The course is short, but it's very to the point and there's not a lot of time wasted re-explaining old ideas.

Zen is dope! Easy to understand and fun to learn along with, BUT, wish there were more times for examples in context instead of isolating the effect and teaching it straight off. It's a gift and a curse since you can go along and explore using what you just learned, but without it in context - the full breadth of possibility in terms of having fun with discovery seems reserved without that extra piece of guidance/direction.

Because I really like the way you go through the videos. Infact that is why I bought this course after seeing you on youtube. You really make me interested and give me more to succeed. And its fun !!

Pretty good tips. Would love it though if there were some more examples of songs these techniques are used in (like the Avicii and Nicky Romero one). Also, I'm familiar with all the techniques presented so far, but I like how Zen World breaks them down

By Camron Taborda on 3/13/2017

I love the short videos! He gets straight to the point in every video, presents the idea, gives a quick example of when a good time to use it would be, and then allows for you to apply your own creative twist or ideas to that technique.

Hey Zen World, After finishing this course, I can say that it was definitely worth the money and time to watch all the videos and then practice all the techniques. I would watch a video and then go off on sound design tangents making a whole bunch of new patches. I feel as if I have a way better understanding of sound design and really hope you make a course for serum next. Thanks for taking the time to put this course together.
