Talend Data Integration Course : Beginner to Expert (Udemy.com)

the lectures were mostly clear and I was able to understand them. However there were some lessons which needed an bit more of information which I had to search from other sites and made myself clear. The practice exercises were very useful and helped a lot for me. I would suggest that there could be explanations given to practice exercise jobs also as there are different ways to achieve the solution for the question asked. Overall the course was resourceful and very useful if you are a beginner to Talend.

This is my first Course at Udemy! This is very nice course it is helpful. The instructor is very bright, he masters the Talend DI and he knows how to teach fresh students! I appreciate very mutch the way the course is prepared and presented. I recommend this course to others. Thanks.

It was excellent. I have been working in Talend for 5 years in different projects and worked with various components in Talend and this course covers almost everything I have worked upon. The study material and exercises are excellent. Nice Job Udemy.

Small session, Repeating same thing again and again. Like first introduce how to design schema for different source and then again shown how to run these job. All subject should be covered in the 1 hour session. Don't provided depth concept and knowledge regarding any subject. In Multi structure output positional session repeat MS Input session. what is that?

Overall the course was good. However, I have few observations to improve: 1) Section 93 is a repeat of Section 80 2) Audio is lost in some of the sections (for Eg: Sec 182,207) 3) Section 215 is about how to create SCP Connection but it talks about SCP Delete 4)Section 221 is about how to truncate file on remote server using SCP but it is showing repetitive video of how to truncate file on remote server using FTP 5)Section 223 was looking incomplete towards the end.

- Course content is good but could have been more efficiently structured. IT should have been divided into two sections i.e. Basics and Advanced. - Jobs are already created by the trainer so it becomes a bit difficult to understand what stage properties has to be set up. Plus, the course does not give the basic idea of JSON, ARFF and LDAP etc. file formats. - Overall it was a good learning experience. :-)

This was an excellent course and i could get all the details about Talend. I would recommend this course to people who want to learn Talend from scratch. Kapil has explained every component excellently. Thanks a lot Kapil.

The course is good to know what kind of things you can do with Talend, but really you won't learn how you can do them. In the summary you can see that there are a lot of videos, but in almost all, the examples already are created and the instructor only run it. You don't see how create each example and I believe is necessary see how the instructor create each one.

Mr Kasarapu's course was very comprehensive to take. I am already doing ETL work but wanted to get a fresh perspective on Talend and this course did that by providing coverage of just about every component you could want. I have recommended this course to the rest of my team and would do the same to anyone who wants comprehensive Talend coverage.

Overall its a good course covered all topics, I felt sometimes the exercises are skipping ahead of the topic that is covered till that point...for example even before databases are covered many of the exercises are using database tables as the source, similarly before tMap was introduced several preliminary exercise had to use tMap. Also I would really appreciate if the certification questions are in the exact format as that of real test instead of in text format.
