I've finished the first section and I'd like to say that it's very well done. The instructor is not only encouraging (which is important, of course), but the instruction is well done in preparation to launch the student into the other lessons to follow. It's easy to follow, not too hard and not too difficult, so it will lay the foundations of the other lessons to come.

The way the tutor teaches is very good....from easy to touch. The most important point I noted is that Nuances of strumming with accent and muting add fascination to playing. This course is really useful for a serious learner of guitar strumming. I adore the pedagogic method of Mr. Jack Long and the last tip he gave the learner i.e. One Learns by Teaching Other also!! Well said.

I love this course. I've been on and off playing guitar for decades and never had any success at the strum (or now at halfway through the course many other things he keeps sneaking in). When I started the course, I was pretty impatient, I don't need to hear this, I already know. But Jack just keeps dropping these little morsels of knowledge that forces you to pay attention. Long story short, you get better really fast. Get the course and don't skip ahead.

Can't say enough about my experience - the course and instructor are "beyond excellent." The instructor, Jack Long, is amazing. He is in tune with the needs of the learning student; he is personable, patient and caring. The course is a comprehensive; it addresses the major aspects of strumming. As a plus, Jack offers tips on how best to address challenges and develop your own style. It will be well worth your time to take this course.

1) Instructor doesn't respond to questions -- or maybe he stopped responding in the past few months. 2) His notation could be greatly improved by using conventional notation of 8th and 16ths. His counting and notation is inconsistent. Many times the pattern he is playing doesn't match the displayed pattern. For example, the pattern may have an extra D, U or &. Many times the counts (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4) represent beats with the & on upbeats (as one would expect when playing 8th notes). But then he confused the issue by changing the tempo of the counting when it would have been clearer to describe the patterns using 16ths (1 e & a 2 e & a 3 e & a 4 e & a) instead of 8ths (1 & 2 & 3 & 4 &) or and a combination of the two. Ghosting would have been more clearly understood (and less mystical) if it would have simply been discussed in the concept of basic strumming in 16th notes rather than 8th notes.

Dear Sir, I was really struggling with strummings as I want to play strumming and sing song together, after I bought your strumming course online, just after 2 weeks and completion of 3 modules, I am doing brilliantly well...thanks a tonne to you sir, you rock...love you a lot...Just 1 request sir, while I will complete these 6 modules, I couldn't find any module online for leads that covers whole guitar frets and all major, minor, blues, pentatonic, etc. scales...I want to learn all scales in fast mode and be a Rock Star just like you...if you have made any such module, pls could you share the link with me to BUY IT? This is, without doubt, one of the best strumming courses available online. The course is well structured, and one will feel the notable improvement in his/her strumming as the course progresses. Jack here is very motivating, and the lessons are highly practical and engaging. Thanks for creating such a beautiful course!

I thought strumming was something that just kind of happened without thinking too much about it. Boy, was I wrong. Through this course I have learned multiple strumming patterns and how to incorporate dynamics and palm muting into my strums to make them more interesting. Most importantly, Jack has taught me how to analyze and learn the strum pattern for any song that I might wish to learn. A valuable skill to have for sure.

Great course and enjoying the modules very much and like to go back and go through the module and practice. The tutor's teaching style suits my learning capabilities as a beginner. The course is well prepared and the tutor's personality comes across well. The courses are easy to follow and well produced.

I've being aiming to improve my strumming technique but found difficultly in finding the right course, mainly because I'm unsure of my own skill level. I have been following Jack Long on You Tube and find his videos well produced and very intuitive, so I opted for his beginner to advanced course. To say that I've learnt lots would be an understatement. This is a great course for those starting off on level one of their guitar journey, so don't feel intimidated if you're just starting out. Jack is a patient and easy to follow instructor. It was great to refresh the basics and I even learnt a few new tricks, but the course really took off for me at module three. I've enjoyed being challenged and am confident that, with Jack's help, I can advance my skills even further. I'm closer than ever to mastering muting strings and am eager to exploring picking notes and rhythm. I recommend this course to beginners and more advanced guitar players. Jack comes across more as a friend than a teacher as he has always been approachable for extra advise and encouragement.
