Thank you for a great beginner course on Regex. I had some basic knowledge but needed a refresher and I have also learnt a lot. I appreciate the detailed breakdowns, it helped me realize how to search for the patterns, think about them and how to work with them. The real life examples were very good and helpful. Also thank you for the captions, not really needed as your pronunciation was very good but still good to have them. The only thing I would recommend from my point of view is not using the same sentences and specific parts repeatedly. When I heard them again and again, I had to fast forward the videos. Also a small recommendation for people who doesn't use Linux or Java, if you want to practice the Regex and see everything nicely coloured and clarified, try using for instance regex101.com. Thank you so much.

It was a great introductory course to regular expressions. The instructor's material was easy to follow and understand. I can now use these skills in my SQL programming and Excel worksheets to solve various problems I have with text fields.

This course is good enough for learning about Regex, also you can practice without having linum installed, just using the VSC, I learned a lot regarding this topic, looking forward use this in my work, very recommended.
