Good course overall, and friendly instructor. Accessible to beginners with no prior or limited programming experience. As a more experienced programmer, I felt that the start of the course was quite slow to cover the basics and I had to fast forward a lot of the time. Conversely, as the course develops and you reach more advanced sections, there is sometimes a lack of explanations: he sometimes just adds lines of code without explaining the purpose or how it works.

I had no programming experience at all prior to this, therefore this course was a perfection and a revelation to me since the teacher is very slow and careful in delivering the concepts as he assumes that most learner are coming from a zero knowledge background. I had to wait to the end of the course for me to be able to give out a clearer review without bias from the comments I read before. Its a great course for beginners and probably kind of easy for developers but still a good solid foundation for both. I definitely have to keep on brushing my skills since this course is more of an introduction to a wide range of concepts from beginner level to advanced in solidity but wont really make you an established developer, that is up to to your own further dedication. Just completed the course after a three week break. Overall the course is a great course. Personally, I intend to dig much deeper at my own pace and considered this to be an invaluable primer. I did most of the exercises confidently till about halfway and lost track a bit; that did not discourage me much since experience has taught me that being present in class and just listening is the most important; one can always fill in/refine the knowledge with personal reading and persistent practice, while recalling what one heard in class. This was truly great.......all for 15 bucks? Simply awesome! You can't beat this. Thanks Clarion.

Overall, the course is great for a beginner in Solidity. However, at some points it gets a bit confusing and some concepts, examples, and exercise instructions are unclear. It does help a bit to know a bit about other programming languages but it's not necessary. I did learn a lot, truly, but I don't think I was able to get the most out of this course. Having that said, I DO recommend taking this course as a first step/approach to Solidity, since a lot of key concepts are explained and the majority of the course is very well taught; plus it provides a lot of exercises and examples to get you going.

Clarian is easy to listen to and he explains the basics of Solidity well. I feel that I have a good knowledge know of what Solidity can do and some knowledge of how Ethereum works. The only problems I had was with the tools external to Solidity. I could have used more instruction on how to use Remix IDE and its plug-ins. Also I had no knowledge of Discord until this course. There should be some introduction to that too. It would have been good to know something about the testnets. I had to do a lot of digging to figure out some things but I think that is what Clarian wanted. Now I now where to get more info. I do thank Clarian for this course.

This course is the best for the people looking to get into the cryptocurrency world... Though you have to do some hard work and do your own research to understand this course and get a good job after that... Though I would recommend new learners to learn JavaScript before or after this (totally my opinion)… Get into Web3 and other smart contract stuff after this, which includes Node.js... That will be great too... About this course, It's totally enjoyable and self-learning … You have to do some projects and other internships to learn more and get into a permanent job... DAPP development, NFT contract creation, and Cryptocurrency creation should be your prior things to learn and implement … Thanks, Dhandeshwaran K S

Clarian was a wonderful teacher! Not only was he easy to listen to and learn from he really got deep into all the concepts to make sure we fully understand and grasp it. Great course and I can not thank him enough for teaching me into this next chapter in my life, no complaints other then the occasional audio and resolution errors but that comes with technology. Dear I finished the course on 09/09/22. The course actually focuses on teaching the Solidity language and is rich in detail. However, it fails in the process of fixing the knowledge because it does not provide the tool for the exercises with success. There are exercises but with a complexity not provided during teaching. Example I teach to make bread, but at the time of the test I ask to make japan bread. So to really help those who study the solidity language with the wealth of details that are in the course I suggest the following action: For each knowledge passed (each lesson) provide several micro exercises for the construction of the knowledge provided in the lesson. Build the idea through teaching and practice. Do not expect that the student will discover what he has never learned to do a complex exercise. I understand that the practice of effort can generate growth. But let's be honest. For example, take the baby under 1 year old and put him on the floor and make him walk?. He won't be able to walk even if he wants to because his bones are still forming. The course is good, but it lacks in the provision of exercises for the practice and fixation of knowledge in an adequate way.

Since i had 0 programming experience Clarian was very good in immersing me in the coding world. A thing i would propably improve, apart from the exercises, is making a recap of the structure of the contract after each big section(eg.positions of enums, emits , structs etc.) It would help tons the newcomer into programming to have a more general perspective of the syntax. Also in Libraries section there is no mention of how to import libraries from Openzepellin etc., something i would look forward too. Last but not least as also someone else mentioned, maybe you can expand or direct to another lesson for more in depth analysis, since some concepts are harder to grasp for the untrained.

This course has really helped me acquire great skills in Solidity. I highly recommend it for people that have zero knlowledge about this language and really want to start building their own applications. It is ideal for starting from zero or reviewing very basic concepts, but Clarian (the Course Guide) does a great job in explaining very basic concepts and gradually building a solid understanding of smart contracts.
