This is a brilliant series of lessons to learn how to use a looper pedal and much more. Robbie shows us how you can make music in a tasteful way, provided that important facets are taken into account. The structure of the lessons is very understandable, the whole process shows the path you can follow to obtain a finished musical composition and have a lot of fun with it. Robbie Calvo is clearly an experienced pro- this course is well designed- timed and cleanly shot- it's methodical, thorough and he has a sense of humor as well. I have learned a ton not only about looping but about chord tones and how to follow them to create professional sounding, musical phrases. One of the best tutorials I’ve seen in guitar looping. Not only would you learn about how you’d use looper proficiently but you’d also learn professional techniques in lead playing with layered overdubs. The lessons covered in this tutorial were good enough to motivate me to explore and improvise for my playing using looper. It’s really an excellent piece of information and would highly recommend to everyone interested in learning with loopers. Looking forward to seeing more of this kind from Robbie and Erich.

Good course to start working with Looper. Videos are well made and to the point. No loose talking. The demos are more at intermediate to advanced level. But the concepts being explained are understandable to beginners as well. Some tabs of what is getting played would help beginners.

Robbie Calvo is a fantastic teacher! The course is all about building musical phrases. It has a little bit about pentatonic scales, chord tone targeting, and embellishments. But the real meat of this course is about how to put these together in a measure. he shows you different parts of the measure so it doesn't sound too crowded. If you know your scales and fundamentals, this course is about musicianship. Highly recommend!

I really didn't know much about looping, etc, but my GTX100 Mustang Amp Combo has a looper footswitch, I have other questions, too but I don't have Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, only YouTube and I think I'll contact you at your website. One of the best instructors on the internet. Already knew his work from truefire courses, this one is also very good, although a bit shorter and less deep than other courses by Robbie Calvo. Excellent if you want to start looping correclty. I was having some hard time on hitting the right tempo and defining the bars correctly. This course corrected this for me.

Started off a little simple (expected), but progressed very nicely to a more challenging level. The additional playing and riff tips are great! I am very glad to have taken this course. I would have figured out a lot of it on my own BUT it is really great to have someone that has already done the work, share it. Saves me from a lot of confusion! Thank you Robie.

The information was useful and understandable. The only problem I had was the video was the size of my thumb print. No matter what I tried. I could not get it to fill the screen, therefore I could not see his hands.
