Hi. I'm Bernard Golden. Wired named me one of the ten most influential people in cloud computing. I've worked with cloud computing since well, before it was called cloud computing. What got me started with the cloud? I'm glad you asked!
Ten years ago I was writing one of my five best-selling cloud computing books -- Virtualization for Dummies. I attended an enterprise architecture meetup as part of my research for the "Future of Virtualization" chapter. That night an Amazon evangelist presented on a new offering from the company called Amazon Web Services. I was kind of surprised -- a computing offering from Amazon? But by the end of that presentation I knew that AWS wasn't just the future of virtualization: it was the future of software.
I threw myself into AWS, learning everything I could about it. I began consulting on it with companies all around the world. I developed and delivered the very first cloud computing training in the industry. And I continued my cloud work in two startups, each of which was acquired by one of the technology giants.
Today I'm proud to bring together all the strands of my work -- software development, cloud computing, industry experience, and education -- in this course. I hope you'll enjoy taking it as much as I've enjoyed making it!

I passed the AWS Associate course first time with five weeks of study with Bernard Golden's two courses. The secret is to do LOTS of practice questions. These three exams are a very good place to start. Very useful. Also do the one AWS official practice course - it's not easy and gives a good indication of how tough the official exam is. Full marks to Bernard for his very useful courses - if he adds more exams make sure you do them all. Excellent value.

I had an issue with Test #1 question 29. Some of the 'All of the above' option was not the last option, which was confusing. Overall, this helped solidify what I needed learn to prepare for the exam. Test #2 has several issues as well.

There was one question that required 2 answers but you could only select one (I think it was test #2). Other than that I feel like these exams are excellent preparation.

Good tests but some questions have invalid answer options (i.e. select 2, but the answers are via radio button and you can only select one) and the exam feedback to answers is sub-par, lacks full-context and details.
