I am not even half way through this course and I'm honestly so impressed! I like the simple straightforward way the instructor talks despite being an advanced color class. I bought a cheap multi-media book and some cheap paint to follow along and take/store notes in one place for later if needed. I like that this course is practical for painters, I have taken one other color theory course in college and when you're not mixing colors with paint it is not the same and it couldn't stick for me.

It's a great match for what I was looking to learn. Sometimes, the instructor breezes through a concept with a superficial (or no) explanation and I have to rewind multiple times to review or replicate the concept.

Clear , step by step instructions that tell you why you are doing what your doing and how it is relevant to the painting process.

I have learned a lot in a very short time. The loose way of painting, the patient way of explaining, I can only thank you and buy another course to continue learning this style that I like so much and that I never knew how to do :) Thank you! Anna

The beginning of the course is great! I was amazed by the effect of the application and effectiveness of the Chroma theory an well as the split colour wheel. I think the demonstration of the colour theory is not very clear for a beginner. The painting style in this course is VERY loose - some may find it very appealing, but it is a bit too loose for my liking and a bit messy. This course will frustrate you if you want to know exactly how colours are mixed or prefer a orderly palette.

An explosion of information and yet simple and understandable I spent most joyful time Learning and seeing colors magic . Really nice course. I love all of the demonstrations. I also skipped a fair amount of fundamentals training and this is a great refresher. I'm planning on watching again with paint supplies in hand. I really feel like this knowledge will benefit me.

Very good course on basic and intermediate color mixing. Especially liked the value study with arbitrary colors. Will look for more of his courses.
