Excellent, fun, in depth essential for any techs

Mike is whimsical, knowledgeable and fun. He really does well with simplifying the many complex ideas and subject matters presented in this course. I would recommend this course for anyone who is just getting started or needs a refresher.

I took a three day network+ Boot Camp course. This video series covers a lot of topics they either didnt touch or barely touched and it goes into far more detail. This will actually teach you things you need to know in the field, not just to pass the exam. I think there is some room for improvement. One think I dont like is when Mike cuts in with corrections - just reshoot it! Makes them seem lazy. Id also like to see more substantive illustrations. Finally, I think more questions on the quizzes would be helpful. But at the end of the day I am very happy with the program especially for the price I paid.

W O W . Mike Meyers is different from the others, and I've used the prof's and JD's materials as well. Mike Meyers teaches in a way that makes sense in the real world especially in IT works. And he uses models like blocks, toys, and diagrams to make you understand the concept. And all the other time he's playing with real gadgets and devices (routers, switches, pcs etc) and does demonstration on it which makes me feel comfortable and ready to take on the job. Suddenly everything makes sense!

Engaging videos and instruction.

Great course overall. I feel fairly confident that the course has provided me with what I need for the exam, but I'll have to spend a significant amount of time reviewing my notes in order to retain some of the topics that just require memorization, such as commonly used ports. It would be fantastic if this course came with some written material that we can reference along the way. There are TONS of things to memorize and writing them down is tedious to say the least and interrupts the learning process. I do have Mike's book, but it seems a little overkill as a study tool when using these videos to supplement the learning process. A shorter PDF with a few lines on each topic would be a game changer for this course. Maybe there is one and I'm just missing it. I also wish there was a bit more context on certain topics to help solidify them(subnetting for example) but this likely isn't important for the exam so I can understand why Mike mainly focuses on how perform the calculations. Again, this is a great course and covers the material very well. I think it would be difficult to find a better course out there that prepares you this well.

I love Mike's courses! He takes concepts that seem overwhelming and breaks them down into easily understandable sections. His material helped me pass the A+ exam and I feel quite confident that they will help me pass the Network+ exam.

This course is a quick and dirty intro to the network+ exam. Some info is missing, and if you use only this as your source of info for the exam, you will likely do poorly. Professor Mike is charismatic and great at explaining things visually. He uses good examples of software and demonstrations to get you to understand the subject matter. However, if you read any significant text on preparing for this exam (even his own), you will find that you have only learned *some* of the pertinent information.
Headphone listeners beware: audio in this series is not equalized. some videos will be SIGNIFICANTLY louder than others.
