Course Description
In this course you will learn how to play blues on the acoustic guitar as it was done on the recordings of the 1920s and 1930s. We will start by learning the basic concepts needed to understand this style of guitar playing - mainly the alternating and monotonic bass lines. Then I will teach you all of the basic chords needed to play acoustic blues guitar and give you a number of practice exercises to help you learn and master each one. In the main part of the course, I will teach you 25 different acoustic blues songs - five in each of the most commonly used keys. This will allow you to apply what you have learned and learn the nuances of playing in each key. The songs covered are:

When you are finished with this course, you should be well on your way to being able to play authentic country blues guitar and figure out more songs on your own!
Make no mistake here - you are getting a shi#load of instruction for the money!!!!
Basic TABS are included for each lecture. I am just getting started with Guitar Pro 7. Please note that I do not TAB out the entire songs in this series! I only TAB out what I teach. The TABS are very basic, but accurate. I plan on revising and adding to the TABS for this lesson as I become more skilled with the GP7 software. Let me know what you think!

He talks about tabs for these first parts in the resources. But, they don't exist until part 16. I was able to figure things out without the tabs. but I've been playing for awhile. A beginner could easily get lost. There are lots of diagrams in the web

Mr Moore knows exactly the genre and conveys it well to the student. I am very happy with this course. Thanks for all the hard work i will do my best to do take it on board.

Dave is great. His class is a lot of fun. And I’ve learned a whole lot, so far. His teaching method is excellent.

Learning the first song. It is disappointing that the tabs seem to have been put together haphazardly and do not match the playing. A bit more effort shouldhave been put into creating accurate tabs. Now on another song and the same applies... The tabs are porly (all quarter notes...). In the end you have to play the video at different speeds to figure what is going on. I could do the same thing with free Youtube videos

Easy for me to say that the approach is too slow as I have been playing some time. I expect I will need it to be slow as the course advances.

I've been playing about 50+ years. I find you can always learn something when you go back to the basics. I thought this would be a good place to start and get familiar with the product
