Snowflake SnowPro Core COF-C03 certification prep: learn Snowflake from scratch, SQL, data warehousing + AI features
Created by: Tom Bailey
Last updated August 2026
Our take
Based on the ratings of 14,163 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in August 2026. No course pays to be reviewed.
Tom Bailey's course is focused prep for the SnowPro Core exam, in its newer COF-C03 version. It runs about 10 hours across 117 lectures in 11 sections, with a quiz after each section and a 100-question mock exam at the end. Hands-on lessons use the Snowsight web interface and a free trial account. Topics include architecture, security, warehouses, query tuning, data loading, data protection and sharing, plus a short AI features section. About 77,000 students have enrolled.
Most of the 14,163 ratings are 4 or 5 stars. Reviewers call the content clear, well structured and kept current. One person who already used Snowflake said it filled gaps. Another studied from this material alone and says it prepared them fully, but warns that the exam leans on scenario questions. The complaints repeat. Several say the instructor talks fast, and a couple say the sound is quiet on some videos. Others want downloadable slides or PDFs for revision. Some say the mock exam is easier than the real one and has little on the AI features.
It was last updated in August 2026, which helps with a fresh exam version. Treat it as the backbone of prep, not all of it. Two low-star reviewers say beginners will struggle, and one adds that SQL and dev experience are needed, so outside material is a must for some. If you have basic SQL and can pause and rewind, it covers the syllabus quickly. Add a separate set of scenario-style practice questions before you book the exam.
Pros
- Section quizzes plus a 100-question mock exam let you test yourself as you go
- Hands-on Snowsight lessons with downloadable code, per the syllabus and reviews
- Reviewers say it is well structured and kept up to date for the exam
- Covers the full Core syllabus in about 10 hours, including a short AI features section
Cons
- No slides or PDFs, so revising key points is hard, say several reviewers
- Fast delivery and quiet audio on some videos make it hard to take notes
- Mock exam is lighter than the real test, with few scenario or AI questions
The content was clear and thorough. I have worked with Snowflake a good amount before this course, but I feel like this course has filled in the gaps in my knowledge.
Listed as beginner, but reviewers say you need basic SQL; true newcomers report pausing a lot.

Hi! My name is Tom Bailey. Thanks for checking out my Udemy profile.

I've now helped over 80,000 students upskill in cloud and data technologies, helping many achieve certifications for the Snowflake data platform. If you're looking for discounts on any of my Udemy courses, please check out my website: tombaileycourses
A bit about me:
Prior to becoming an instructor, I worked in technology consulting for over a decade. In that role, I helped a range of clients in industries from automotive to consumer goods transform their business needs into robust technical solutions. I’ve assumed many titles during that time, but I’m primarily interested in cloud data & software engineering!
As a consultant, I’ve had to move from project to project, which always brings with it the necessity and opportunity to learn. This is one aspect of my job that I've always loved: picking up new technologies, learning their ins and outs and delivering a creative and practical solution.
I’ve worked with early big data systems like Cloudera, Hortonworks, HBase and Spark, and more recently streaming & cloud technologies like Amazon Web Services, Apache Kafka and Snowflake. I’ve been fortunate enough to earn:
- the AWS Certified Developer Associate certification,

The content was clear and thorough. I have worked with Snowflake a good amount before this course, but I feel like this course has filled in the gaps in my knowledge. If you are looking for a course that broadly covers every important Snowflake topic on the exam, this is a great course.

Excellent course! Fully prepared me for the exam: This course was incredibly helpful. I studied by depending fully on this material, and it gave me everything I needed to succeed. For future learners taking the exam, I highly suggest preparing yourself for scenario-based questions. The exam relies heavily on them, so make sure you understand how to apply the concepts to real-world situations rather than just memorizing facts. I highly recommend this course!

Thank you for your material, I found it quite useful and helped me passed from zero to certificated in 2 months (instead the 6 indicated as reference for this certification). My only point in the cons list, is that the presentations were not downloadable. I understand it is to protect your work, but I might have found very helpful to have the material to better organize my knowledge and leverage my own notes

"Well structured and easy to follow. The content is explained clearly without unnecessary jargon, making it accessible to both beginners and experienced professionals. The hands-on sessions break up the theory nicely, keeping the learning engaging rather than feeling like a passive lecture. The practice quizzes at the end of each chapter are a great way to reinforce what you've covered. A highly recommended course whether you're just starting out or looking to solidify your existing knowledge. Thank you, Tom!"

Course content is good and presentations is also good. But two key observations I would like to mention. 1. Try to share the Presentation used in the course for future references. 2. Practice exam results are showing only over all percentages. Try to show scores of Topics, which will help us to know our strong and weaker topics.

The training as a whole met my expectations; except for few points like audio low for few lessons, while the video was blurry for some esp. the ones with SnowSight UI while executing queries and lastly one of the lesson for me did not load - keeps giving me error. Looking forward to clear my certification soon. Thank you Tom!

Amazing course. I have been working with Snowflake for 3 years and I learned so many new things. If you are working with Snowflake or are planning on working with Snowflake you should definitely take the time to go through this course.

Really good course. I was able to pass the COF-C03 certification, partly thanks to it. From my point of view, the course is very clear and covers most of the required topics. However, it is important to dive deeper into these topics using the official Snowflake documentation and by PRACTICING with a trial account. For reference, I have been working with/on Snowflake for six months on a weekly basis as both an administrator and a data engineer. I took this course, completed some free online practice tests, and regularly referred to the Snowflake documentation. In total, I spent about five days preparing, including the exam day. I found the exam quite challenging compared to my training sessions. Spending time working with Snowflake is essential to fully understand policies, privileges, objects, and other key concepts. 855/1000

The course was great. I was able to clear the COF-C03 version of the exam with 845. The teacher covered most of the required things. But still referring the official docs might help us catch little things which the teacher hasn't added to the course yet.
By Divya Bajaj on 2/24/2026
The course is highly recommended. However consider it to be a summary view of the snowflake capabilities which can be checked in exam. Recommending to understand every statement been mentioned. Practice exam should be updated - its nowhere near the actual complexity of the exam. Where you can expect 50% of the questions on scenario basis ( which calls for better understanding, rather than just cramming ). Add some details on Data Share/Market exchange. Current information is bit less as compared to expectations in Exam. Overall good experience from this course.
