Stephane Maarek's security specialty course is a fast, mostly slide-based walk through the six exam domains, from detection and incident response to data protection and governance. It runs about 17 hours across 279 lectures, and the instructor says plainly that it assumes Solutions Architect Associate level knowledge plus real hands-on AWS time. Beginners will struggle. It is built to sharpen what an experienced person already knows and point it at the exam.

Reviewers like the clear explanations, the graphics and the straight-to-the-point pacing, and one singles out the IAM and logging sections. One student reports passing the exam using only this course, with prior AWS experience. The complaints are worth weighing, though. One reviewer finds the delivery too fast and theory heavy. Another says it explains what to do but not why, which makes picking the right exam answer slower. Two more call the material padded, surface level or repetitive.
