Most of the videos are variations of the same exercise with just dfferent time signatures. Practicing scales is useful, but the overall value, depth and length of this course is faaaaar, far behind of what I'm used to on udemy.

This is a very good course , especially for beginners. It is very encouraging to see that I am seeing results in a day.

This course is easy to follow. The information is presented in small bite sized sections in an interesting manner. It allows the learner ample opportunities to practise alongside backing tracks. Very pleased with my progress and looking forward to learning the songs in the next course.

The quality is great! And I learned how to tune my bass without a tuner!! Mind blown!!! So far, great beginner information.

He’s taking the time to thoroughly go through all the fundamentals and technics.

Missing fretboard familiarity
By Nadia Danielle on 11/28/2022
Some diagrams or downloads of the scale to view of the notes would be helpful. It was hard to see which frets were being played due to the angle and not knowing which notes are where on the bass was a little challenging but I figured it out and the half note whole note explanation was helpful before playing along.

He is speaking in Laymans terms which is exactly what a beginner needs.

Great course this instructor teaches; however, I wish he would have taken the time to put out some written resources of his course in pdf files which we could download. It would help. He keeps it simple and effective for everyday practice and skill building. THE RACK METHOD WAS NEW TO ME AS I HAVE NOT SEEN AN INSTRUCTOR EVER TEACH THIS ONLINE OR TO STUDENTS ONE ON ONE.

As a beginner, this is the perfect course. Not overly complicated and I feel like I'm right there with John.
