Workshop in Probability and Statistics (Udemy.com)

The course is real a deep drive into Probability and Statistics. The methodology and modality of presentation by Prof George was amazing. The training is a huge resource that i will need to consult ,review and go through again and again because it to too rich in content to be fully digested and appreciated in one reading or session. Its really an investment of resources of time and data and its worth. I recommend it to everyone desiring to grow in knowledge in this area.

There are at least two problems where I had all the concepts needed to find an answer but the information required analysis and processing to fit the concepts. Those problems forced me to think after trying to fit the pattern in the course. They were about probability, normal distribution, and joint variables. The con I can list for this course is that it is introductory. The instructor intentionally leaves out some mathematical proofs and methods behind the equation since they are not in scope.

Best course on probability and statistics I ever did! All other courses on statistics, that I did before, had a huge problem that there was a lot of raw theory with formulas, but a very little amount of information on how this all really applies in a real life. This course not only helps to understand the idea behind each topic with their formulas, but also where and how exactly this could be applied to a real-life situation and how to identify, what would fit where. I absolutely recommend this course to everyone!

This course is a must for someone who want to learn applied statistics

Good explanation, easy to understand!

This is what I was looking for. An introductory course in probability and statistics that focusses on intuition and problem solving. Professor George Ingersoll is great and very accessible. I love the problem sets. They are not some meaningless simple multi choice questions so many other Udemy courses have but are real problems. One feedback is that the video quality is quite inconsistent across the course, I understand they were probably shot at different times with different equipments but if they can be standardised, it would even be better. Thanks for this great course Professor!

Great lectures. I really enjoyed this workshop. I liked that it wasn't overly simplified, but it wasn't insanely impossible either. I found it very helpful and really would like to see more from this instructor. I found his way of teaching to be very helpful for me.

The course so far is really good. Professor is explaining the basic concepts very well. Amazing refresher.
