I like to practice my breathing alone, without the harmonica in my mouth. For a harmonica player, breath is the engine that drives rhythm. I highly recommend you focus on breathing as often as possible without being distracted by the other elements of playing harmonica. You are awesomely brife this course.

This is a superb way to go from 0-30 may 40 miles per hour. Prior to lesson one, I had NEVER touched a harmonica. After lesson 30 I am playing decent cords, better singles and even bending to a level that is not great but my cat does not run from the room screaming. I practiced each 2-minute lesson for 20 minutes or so and took about 40 days to complete the 30-day course. This is brilliantly done with an instructor that is superb. Two thumbs up

Excellent basic introduction to harmonica techniques at an easy to learn pace. Just enough to show you how to do entry level harmonica on your own so that you can get a feel for it. It was supposed to last a full month, but I couldn't not go on. It was all that I could do to get much past the first week without just finishing it so that I could go to another level .... very, very doable. Now go do it!

I really liked the instructor , he was clever and projected very well. I will have to say i am a tad disappointed since I thought it would have a little more intermediate lessons involved since that is what was advertised so most everything I already knew (I must be a better player than I thought) and I did pick up a couple of ideas. One problem is I use a harmonica holder since I also play guitar and both on many songs so a lot of this technical was for both hands (and that is not a problem since I kind of figured that anyway). Bottom line is I enjoyed the class and instructor just fine and respect him for putting this out

Lo único que he sacado en claro es como colocar la boca y la posición de algunas notas. No se puede hacer un curso sin apoyo de algún material tipo partituras, o tablaturas, porque si sólo se dicen las notas que se van a tocar, de palabra, no hay manera de fijar las ideas. Yo creía que era un curso, aunque breve, no una demostración de lo bien que sabe tocar el profesor

Ben is an amazing instructor. I have taken several courses and attended several webinars with him and, although I have had other instructors, he is my favourite. You can't go wrong with Ben and you have so many opportunities, like online in person courses which are really fun.

For an absolute beginner, this is a good place to start as it provides a great overview of different techniques and genres within the harmonica universe. Hungry to learn more now.
