3D for Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery (Udemy.com)

Unfortunately it fell short of my expectations. The content could have been much more didactic and better organized. Several lessons were repetitive, and some demonstration videos didn’t add real value to the learning experience. Another important point is that the course relies on a paid software that is very expensive. It would have been much more helpful and accessible if the instructor had used more common free or open-source applications. Sometimes he just show the name but there is not demonstration of use. Overall, I’m not sure the price I paid was justified considering the quality and depth of the material. I believe the course has potential, but it needs significant improvements to deliver a better learning experience.

It´s quite good and easy to learn with it. Also, it could be useful to have some documents with info or some steps.

Not really step by step, requires some previos knowledge of 3D, but was useful

At the point of how to make patient specofic surgical device, how to make Mesh files from DICOM tdata and how to use DICOM viewer and CAD softwere, this course is prety good. But in terms of the contents of video lectures ,the same patient case , the same plan making and the same presentations are again and again descrived in the same manner. So, I think this course is nice, but that would be pretty better if the same contens were cut and the total time of lecture ware shortened to, say, one half.

Some videos are in duplicate in some lessons and would be great that the tutor would make some CAD files and DICOM available to download

Very clear and easy going. Just the part of each software needed for surgery.

I'm working as a medical design engineer and really wants to thank the instructor for this amazing course especially for: how to plan the osteotomy, designing implant from images and in depth explanation of the softwares. Completed this 5hrs course in one shot..Thank you so much and keep sharing the amazing stuff. Also, I'd love to learn more on designing patient specific implants used in oral & maxillofacial, orthopedic and neuro surgeries. Thank you once again!!! :)
