7-Day Body Language Challenge: Build Presence at Work (Udemy.com)

Short daily exercises that rewire how you carry yourself. Build the habit in a week, not a year of theory.

Our take

Based on the ratings of 218 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in May 2026. No course pays to be reviewed.

This is a seven-day body language program from Jimmy Naraine, packed into 19 lectures and about 1.6 hours. Each day takes one topic: posture, eye contact, common mistakes, spotting lies, connecting with people, and a grab bag of extra tips. It is aimed at working people who want to change how they come across in meetings, interviews or negotiations, not at anyone after the science. Nothing is graded. There are no quizzes or assignments, so the daily practice is on the honor system.

Reviewers mostly praise the teaching. Words like engaging, clear and easy to follow show up in the reviews, one person says they spotted habits in their own body language to work on, and another says reading other people got much easier. The criticism is about depth. A four-star reviewer found it mostly familiar, another could multitask through it and expected something more technical, and a three-star reviewer says the last video points at gestures without ever explaining them. The lie detection day also drew a comment that it takes real diligence.

The rating is 4.6 from 218 reviews, and 198 of those are four or five stars. The course was refreshed in May 2026. It is a small time commitment, which is the whole pitch. Treat it as a nudge to practice, ideally with a real meeting or interview coming up. If you want research-backed depth, graded exercises or a full course on reading people, look elsewhere.

Best forWorking professionals with an interview or big meeting coming up who want one small body language habit per day.
Skip it ifYou want research-backed depth, graded exercises, or a thorough course on reading people and detecting lies.

  • Professionals who've read the theory and want to actually build the habit, through short daily practice
  • Anyone who feels they show up smaller than they actually are in meetings and conversations
  • People who want noticeable change in how they carry themselves, in a week rather than a year
  • Professionals preparing for a high-stakes event (interview, presentation, negotiation) in the near future

What you need before you start

  • No prior body language knowledge needed

Course Description

Most body language courses teach you what to know. This one makes you actually do it.

Across 7 short daily sessions, you'll work on one thing at a time — posture, eye contact, hands, voice, the small habits that quietly tell people how seriously to take you. By day 7 you won't be performing confident body language. You'll be using it.

If you've watched body language content before and felt like nothing changed, this is why: knowing isn't training. This is training.

How the challenge works:

Each day is a single focused session you can do in around 15 minutes. You'll learn one principle, then apply it in your real life that same day — in your next meeting, your next conversation, your next walk through the office.

By the end of the week, the habits are wired in. This isn't a theory dump you forget by Friday. It's a practical reset of how you show up.

Jimmy didn't explain some of the body languages he spoke of in the last video. He said that you now know what they mean, but never explained them.

By Judith Lecik on 5/5/2026

I found this course to be very captivating and I definitely learned some things about my own body language that I intend to work on using what I learned here! Thanks Jimmy!

By Saikiran Gudla on 4/8/2025

Wow. Amazing. Useful and practical information. Author explained all of this very well. Loved the background of all the videos. Highly recommended.

By Deborah Barksdale on 2/10/2025

This was a good match for me; however, I was able to multitask without a problem and still follow along with ease. I thought it would be more technical.

By Irfan Ahmad on 9/23/2024

Amazing course that I found on udemy.

By Ranadip Chakraborty on 8/3/2024

The instructor is passionate and knowledgable about the topic and explains it well

By Zahraan Bin Shoaib on 7/26/2024

It was easy to understand, and the views made up for it! I CAN NOW READ OTHERS SO EASILY, THANK YOU SO MUCH YO. But I know half the video how to spot a liar, it's kinda tricky since I have to be very diligent to read other people to see if they're lying. But since you tried your best, I give it a five star anyway. :)

By Karin Stobbe on 1/8/2024

Jimmy Naraine is incredibly engaging. He explains the topics crystal clear. Jimmy is so fascinating that I want to learn more from him.
